    roll cages??

Why don't they make a roll cage that has more rear end support? Seems to be where all my bodys get damaged ???

"They"? Or are you talking about the molded in cage on the lexan bodies? The rear posts are always the first to go on any SC body, as it's the spot with the least available flex. The front can flex around because the windshield is providing a 'crease' to fold at, the rear doesn't have that luxury. Also the traxxas bodies are rather thin and have some sharp corners. Best you can do is get a different body with a more simplified rear (like the proline tundra), or reinforce the stock ones with the drywall tape+goo method.

On my HCG Slash 4x4 I had the New Era rollbar. It stopped the rear holes from being ripped out. It did a wonderful job of protecting the body and electronics.

I might have to get me one of those. My body is beaten up and ugly! I don't want to replace it because I am just going to ruin whatever I put on it and this might help it last a lot longer. I think I will have to put New Era rollbar on the top of my list

It is a steel rollbar made by a company names New Era. It is an extremely strong piece! It has been run over by 1:1 cars three times and was still in great shape!

I couldn't find the new era one anywhere. They might not make it anymore. Hot Racing makes one very similar for around the same price http://www.hot-racing.com/index.cgi?...SLF11208;c=480 or you can get it on ebay. I think I have to pass on the roll bar because you can't run a shroud with them. Without a shroud my chassis gets full of grass and it gets stuck under everything.

It does give support around in the body pin area but not really in the very rear.

Well it essentially does, in that it prevents the body from 'collapsing' on flip or lid landing, which is what causes the rear to be punched through usually. Only problem after that is the UP force on the rear, which can happen from landing on one rear wheel hard enough to flex the A arm upward, pushing up the fender. It can also happen with an RPM rear bumper, which hugs the rear line of the stock body very closely, so if you butt end a landing from say jumping into the wind too fast, the body will be pulled up.

I use a VG roll cage for the rally on my LCG Slash 4x4 with no body. I love it; very strong.
