am thinking of trading a friend a dirt bike not that good never ride it for his t-maxx that has been ran only a few times is it worth it again i want to do it so BADDD!!! in super nice condition

T-maxx hop up accessories are part of what makes this hobby interesting to me. Traxxas has enough upgrades for the t-maxx to let you build exactly what you want, however, stock out of the box is a great truck. I would wait to buy much of what you need to upgrade until parts break. With that in mind, I believe you can never have enough glow plugs. Some slipper clutch pegs and an extra spur gear would be good to have on hand too.

One question...does your friend have the revo for sale minus the engine?

when i get my new carb saturday im going to put it in and tune the car to perfection and could someone tell me how long a full tank of gas will last

oh and is it ok to run the car without the black piece on top of the motor when i got it it didnt have one nitro newbie here

and do ineed skidplates for the bottom

When you wear the 2.5 out, drop a 3.3 in there. Makes a lot of difference. My engines usually last for 9-12 gallons though, so that one has a lot of life left in it.

Yeah it's fine to run it without the black thing. And the truck should have come with stock plastic skids. I've kept my Maxx for 6 years and they still are decent.

Your user name says it all. "Empty Wallet". That's what this hobby will do. lol. Enjoy the truck. It's a great machine. I've had mine for close to 10 years. Was my first one that got me hooked in this hobby

A tank of fuel will last for 6 or 8 minutes or so. Maybe a little more. I've never really timed it myself. If you're running overly rich you'd be amazed how fast to will blow through it I love the enthusiasm you show. Can't wait for the posts next weekend there all fun and games till they start testing your patience! Fortunately they're fun to work on.

Not sure how long the run time is on the stock tank but i do know that if you do the ofna violator fuel tank mod you will get more run time and it will get rid of the half tank lean issue.
