    Question Help, Rally is suckin'

So I finally got my Rally a few days ago, this thing is fantastic, the first day I roared through 3 batteries at my local park and around my house, tore up some hiking trails etc.

But the next day I put my "25c 7600Mah 7.4a Traxxas Lipo" on the Hi-Tec X1 charger I got and did a full charge cycle on it and plopped it into my rally and took off, at very very lackluster speed! Day 1 this thing was tearing up the streets and trails, and the next day it feels like a radioshack kid's toy.

Am I missing something!? I made sure to set the rally's ESC to 1 blink 100% throttle / 100% Reverse setting. and the car is just running like it's drunk. I did also make sure to set the ESC to LIPO mode. Anyone know what's up am I the only one experiencing this!?

    Thanks guys.

Checking the ESC was the first place and it sounds like you got that covered.

Is there any drag to the drive train when rolling on the bench by hand?

Is the slipper clutch tight enough or sound like its slipping?

Can you measure the voltage of your pack to ensure it's at proper levels?

Whats the temp of the motor like when running is it very hot to the touch?

It can be a lot of things, those are just some things to check for....

Thanks for the quick responses guys! I got it figured out, and boy I feel dumb!

It was my remote. The TQi has the multi-function nob which somehow, I am gonna blame my wife since she plays with it while I am at work, ended up with a lowered throttle ratio limiting me to, I am guessing, around 70% throttle.

I went online to check why my LED on the remote was flashing green, and that was the issue. she lowered the throttle without even realizing it, I reset it back to default settings and it works like a charm!

that's funny, my rally goes backwards when it is set to 70/30 instead of staying put.

oh no, switching 70/30 requires programing your TX/RX first but, I'm sure you got it taken care of by now lol
