Exclamation Rustler VXL Stock Problem-Throttle not working

So bought a rustler vxl a year ago and drove it for about a month then school and sports got into the way of my rc hobby so today i got it back out and charged the battery and went to drive it and i noticed that when i pulled the throttle down or up it would not do anything but when i turned the wheel on the controller to the right the car turned to the right and reversed and when i turned it to the left it drove forward and turned to the left. How do i fix it so it goes back to normal. please help me and thank you

Sounds like your ESC is plugged into the the wrong channel. Make sure it's in channel 2.
