    Muscle Car Body for Rally

Someone found this for me and I love it for my first attempt at painting a body.

    http://parmapse.shptron.com/p/69-mus...ear-body?pp=15

I was thinking either yellow with black racing stripes or black with white stripes......your thoughts?

The nose is a bit too short to my liking, but hey, if you like it, paint it like a 442 and it should do the job.

A simple two tone might look good with this body also. Please post pictures if you paint it!

^^^ Those bodies are designed for 1/10 touring cars, Vintage Trans Am class (VTA). They won't fit the Rally unless you make it Monster Car style like your example above.

I don't think that that's the real intent of the Rally, but hey, it's your ride.

Meh, it would be great if we could get more 1/8 bodies selections that are not Delta Plastik like.....

Not my first choice by a long shot, but same era....

Yea seriously. I figured they would have a fleet of awesome molds out there for such a popular rc. I actually really liked the DP8 i saw in Stephan's thread and I'm ordering it on monday. This will be my first clear body. Hopefully it will come out the way it looks in all those pics online hehe...

Haha I saw that one too. I like them both but I was gonna get the DP8 along with the street fighters and split sixes...

Ahh, the DP8 just seemed like a big departure from the muscle car Olds you opened posting with... Thus I thought you meant PF8 as it is closer to sedan proportions than the Exotic car DP8 McLaren.

Hehe I'm just itching to get something but I do like that style the best.

Hey I'm thinking other tires and wheels might look better with the dp8. What's another set of tires and wheels that you would recommend with this body strictly for road and some power sliding?

@humayrayakongkinaon......I have seen these mentioned here in the community. I can't believe the prices on these!! Do I need the 17mm adapters for these or will they fit the rally as is?

Yes, 17mm is a must, you dont have to worry stripping hexes and for 16 bucks a set you can have fun without burning out your pocket

Yea I'm loving the prices on these! Another noob question for ya....if I still want to enjoy the powersliding i get with the stock tires, does it matter whether I go with slick tires or treads? Also, any recommendation for the hex adapters or are they all the same stuff?
