silly question - transmission shifting (or lack there of)

Is there any way to set the two-speed tranny to not shift at all, making it act like a single speed? This is on a new slayer pro I speak of. Thanks, just curious...

Lock second gear by using screws.

is that as simple as opening it and using pre-existing screw holes or is that a custom mod involving drilling and what not?

Does this work for nitro. Or does it cause the clutch to act up?

Yes, the Slayer is nitro and this is locking second gear so that is the only gear that engages. Has nothing to do with the clutch.

K thanks, i meant slipper clutch and was referring to the input shaft being locked. I did this mod but but gave up after I stupidly mixed a revo center diff in my slayer trans and went back to stock. Now that I realize my mistakes I'm gonna give it another shot.
