Cant get wheels aligned on slayer

Hi everyone im new to this hobby but i heed your help
I crashed my slayer into the wheel of my car parked on the curb of the street and when i ran over to get the car, the passenger side front wheel steering rod and joints where popped out, so basicly the only thing holding it on was the little spline, so i took off the wheel and put the joints back in but now the thing that the wheel goes onto is crooked when i screwed the steering arm back in so i unscrewed the steering arm and adjusted the part where the wheel goes onto straight anf the steering rod wont extend far enough out to make the wherl be in line with the other, so have no idea what to do please help
So wen u think of the car just imagine the driver side wheel straight and the other wheel turned out about 40 degrees when i have everything together

Sounds like the turnbuckle isn't centered. I would take the turnbuckle out and adjust it so it's centered then do the aligning of the wheels. The other side may need adjusting too. As long as the knuckles don't look out of shape then. It should be just the turnbuckle. And if it just turns (stripped) the a new pair of turnbuckles is in order.

The turnbuckle is attached at the knuckle and the steering servo saver. I'm afraid I don't have pics to help but its just a couple of 2mm hex screws to get it out. By centering, I mean to make sure the same amount of threads are equal, or close to it, on either side next to the ends.
