Setup help wanted

Currently running a fully stock Spartan (Model 5707), with Traxxas 8400mAh 11.1v 3-Cell 25C LiPO Batteries.

Traxxas claims this setup will run 50mph, but I have never been able to get it over 26mph.

Any tips?

Is there a cutout when you hit WOT? 50mph will be reach with a proper upgrades especially the Props.

No. No cutout. It seems to be running fine, just not reaching speeds over 26mph.

Also, my concern is that according to Traxxas' advertising, I shouldn't have to upgrade, or modify anything.

P.S. - I'm using the Dynamite GPS Speed Meter and Tracker, to measure speed, and verified it's accuracy with the speedometer on my truck.

You’re also going to want to reprogram the throttle endpoints in your esc.

Ok

As it turns out, I had to turn on the Low Voltage Protection.

First test run after that, it ran 48mph, with the batteries at the mid point, with no other changes.
