    La Trax Alias

I bought the new light bar, now I lost the ability to do the preprogramed flips. Unplug the light and everything works fine. Anybody know what im doing wrong or is that a normal problem?

I would guess normal. When you plug in the camera, the flip buttons become camera control. The light bar plugs into the same connector as the camera so I would guess it also knocks out the flip ability.

If you are good enough then you can bypass the gyro on exp1 mode and do flips manually though.
This will TOTALLY work, saw a guy on YouTube do it

You need to reprogram a button.

    Turn Tx on.
Depress left stick for 2 seconds to enter programming mode and release.
Depress right stick to select EXP1 and release.
(The above two steps can be performed in reverse order.)
Depress left stick twice to get to Aux1 options, L2 will be displayed.
Depress Aux1 button until F1 is displayed.
Depress left stick for 2 seconds to exit programming mode and release.

You can now do flips with the light.

it is set that way as factory default but once you attach the light bar... it reprograms the aux1 button and turns off the auto flip function. everyone who has used the light bar has had the same thing happen. you actually have to go back in to the programming as described above and turn it back on again. if I have misunderstood you to have already followed ksb51rl's instructions and tried to manually turn it back on... I apologize. Traxxas will hook you up and guide you through the procedure if you cant get it to work though .

Quad needs to be on with light bar installed, then re-program the aux buttons to whatever you want. If memory serves it's "A2" to turn the light bar on and off.

If you program it with the quad off, or the light bar not installed, it will not retain the programing when you install the bar or plug in the battery.
