I have HR lcg motor mount and its serving me well. I don't see any gap with mine but then again I don't drive off-road.

That hole, you can put the telemetry cover back on from the stock motor mount.

You don't have to take the motor mount, just take the rear end off, pull out the slipper assembly and you can see the openning.

I have two hot racing mount as well as kingz head, the kings head is junk imo, I dont even use it any more.
The mount is ok I suppose if you buy quality bearing for them they'll perform better, tho for $8 bucks less the hr wins hands down imo

I'm also an HR fan lol, but there are other parts from them I stay away and that's the diff cup. I'm not trying to burst your bubble but aluminum cups tend to leak out later down the road. Check out el sob's thread, all about differential

True but the bearing is of better quality and for the eight less dollars the mount costs you could buy two extra bearings.

So true, and do you guys know that the bearing bore is fitted with o-ring for vibration and keep dust/debris out?

Didn't know that, thanks for the heads up. I am gonna get a rally chassis in a couple of weeks and plan on upgrading the motor mount. Where do you order your HR parts from?

This makes the Hot racing lcg mount the clear winner over the kingz head imo.
A better bearing from the start, almost nine bucks cheaper with an o ring seal in the bearing bore.

You see that's why I like HR products. I don't understand why they aren't more available through more websites.

The guys at my local hobby town are nice but don't know much. I asked for a mod 1 pinion with 30 or more teeth and they gave me 48p.

I have four hobby shops in my area. The Concord Hobbytown is always well stocked and almost have everything I ever look for. The Antioch Delta Rc shop is a close second. They are not quite as well stocked but they have lots and are an rc only shop. The American Canyon rc is more devoted to their track than having parts on hand. The Vacaville Hobbytown is a complete waist of time! I have only ever gone there once where they actually had a part that I was looking for. They always say they can order the part but I can do that myself and eliminate the middle man.

I do like HR but I have the KHZ mount on my Rally. Hasn't given me any problems yet, but then I've been out of the hobby most of the past year or two.
