    Stampede 4x4 bashing! and destroyed spur gear!

    Took the pede 4x4 out today for some bashing, here are some shots!













    Pinion set screw backed off and stripped spur gear

    Sick pictures bro I dig action shots just need to keep up with the maintenance checks like wheel nuts,motor plate and a few others plus a lube up every couple of bash sessions....peace

    I think I see what went wrong....you didnt have the body on....thats what caused the problem. It was the directional downforce, caused by the lack of aerodynamics due to body-less chassis, applied the proper counter clockwise pressure to the grub screw in the pinion, which caused it to back out and slip on the motor shaft, therefore stripping the spur. Physics will get ya every time...

    Spennie - I got a dumb question for ya dude. What does "lube up" mean ? I didn't know to lube anything on my PEDE ....
