Pro-line Rims on a Slayer Pro
Hey guys, I was thinking about getting a Traxxas Slayer pro 4x4 and I was wondering if Pro-line Epic beadlock Rims would fit stock. if not what would I need and please send pics/link

I think proline only makes 12mm hex rims now. You will need tra6869 to use 12mm rim on your slayer. There r other mods (tekno), but the traxxas hexes work the best.
Good luck!

And will those fit without any modification?

Reason: merge, clutter reduction

Correct, they bolt right on, well, they use screws...
It comes with a drill bit for the rims, if they are 5mm and won't fit over larger spindle. That would be the only "mod" needed
Hope this helps!

Did you happen to read about these wheels? It is stated that they are not designed for racing or bashing.
Here's what I have read, READ THE WARNING....

Maybe you know something I don't or missed the warning.

I was not aware of this disclosure, glad I've never bought a set. I use the slash offset 12mm rims with taped proline badlands

I know if you are getting a Slayer, it won't be driven slowly as I love to open my son's Slayer up. It is amazing the power it has.
I find that Traxxas did a fine job of gearing it to peak performance. All I know is I am thoroughly impressed as it out performs my Maxx any day. I know I am talking two different styles of trucks but I can make my Slayer do more than my Maxx.
Thinking of getting rid of the Maxx for another Slayer.

So I would just need the 12mm hex? Seems easy enough thanks!

There are a lot of options out there depending on which tire and size you want. There's the 17mm hex, and the 12mm hex.
17 hex if your wanting to run larger wheels or buggy style. I chose to stay stock as I said it performs great. I did purchase another set of Traxxas wheels and put some Proline Blockades on for the track. I have not put the XO-1 adapters on yet which I intend to do.

I want the proline split six beadlocks and they have a 11 or 12 mm hex so I need the adapter for that correct?
