    project Tellucrawl

So I decided after seeing some of the builds on here, I wondered what it would take to make the telluride a pretty capable crawler. It actually turned out pretty good.

Ok so I'm new to all of this and need some advice/help. Im looking to do a few upgrades to my Telly, first off I have packed the front diffs with silly puddy and that has made a HUGE difference in the ability to crawl up and down the rocks with the stock set up.
So far Im awaiting to get a set of RPM Revolver Wide Wheelbase wheels, and Proline Flat Iron tires. planning on adding 2.oz of weights to the front wheels. and 1. oz of weight the the rear. I'm swapping out the 12T with a RC4WD 35t Brushed motor. A HPI Reduction Gear Box 1:7.4 ratio and changing out the High stall "slipper" with a Slash Slipper clutch and a 54T spur. And thinking of going to a 20 something pinion. With that setup I think I could crawl over anything including any of the Axial trucks I see at my local track. Does anyone have any advice on this set up? or anything they would recommend?

I'll try to get a couple pics of the bumpers. Basicall I took slash 4x4 bumpers and bolted them right up. The only problem the front bumper was that they didn't look right because of the low angle (designed for a slash) so I took my pen torch and heated up the plastic just enough to bend it until I got the right angle for the blazer. Then repainted the bumper black to look new again. The rear bumper is kind of a Frankenstein creation after cutting, drilling new holes and cutting more. I also drilled and installed the smallest picture frame hangers i could find as D rings.

I happen to have a slash bumper on my telly, since it was lying around when I was ordering parts. I somehow have 3 spares. I hope to heat and bend mine. All I really have is a lighter or a soldering iron to work with.

That's sounds like a pretty solid setup. Can't wait to see pics of the new dodge body on a Telluride.

Took a slash 4x4 front bumper and heated it up and bent it to the proper angle for the blazer.

So while this Telluride was finishing up, I have been building a second Telluride and going a little more extreme with it.
