I like the way they fit, very good connection it seems. I don't like that you can connect them reversed, have to pay attention. What chassis are you using again?

Put a fully charged pack in and motor is sitting at 95f esc is 71f. Nonstop throttle only let off when in a turn

Oh I'm also geared 19/54. That's why I said I could gear it up more. I need to get me a 52 spur
I may have to start with the same gearing. I' going to try to fit the 21t pinion with the 54t spur, but it's going to be tight. I have a smaller spur, but I would have to get the revo slipper setup.

21 is the biggest you can go with a 54

Yeah I like it too and like you said it can easily be plug in the wrong way, so always pay attention lol. I'm using the same chassis for p4de/telluride.

YAAAAY !! A finish truck. You gonna strap that troll down for a ride. Seeing that last pic reminds me of a thread in the summit section where a guy used GI Joes for his build every pic the joes had a part and either taking it off and putting a new one back on. It was humorous and different lol

    LOL.
I did a run today. It was on snow doing a lot of spinning(very low traction surface) After 20-30 minutes,I checked the temps. The motor was at 142F.The ESC maybe 90F and fan on.The fan shut off after 5 min no action. The weather outside was -2C.The motor temp seems a little high for the conditions. I am geared spur 54T and pinion 21T.What do you think ? I am running 100K in front diff and 60K in back.I removed 1 o-ring from the tekno big bone giving about the same play as the stock.

Go down a few teeth on the pinion and see what temps you get then.but it may just be because the motor was hitting very high rpms that it went that hot....peace

Thanks Spenn. That's what I was thinking, high rpms,no traction to limit. The tires were ballooning the whole run, with the blue foam in them.I have a 19T pinion that I will try.Don't have to worry about backflips this time of year.
Also,in my part ordering frenzy,I mistakingly ordered 3.8 wheels.I was thinking of getting 3.8 sling shot tires. What do you think ?

3.8"Way to big and too much stress on the drive train see if you can swap or get your dough back man but with the 19t or lower your temps will be sick....peace

That could be another reason to your heat issue. Not allowing air to flow inside and cool the motor. That's why I like my toys shroud its breathable and water repellant. Wish I had SNOW to play in so I can see if it actually keeps it out. I know when I run through water my chassis is dry. There is a mod I don't remember who did it but you can add a fan to that shroud.

Yeah and wasn't even a hard hit. Thankfully I ordered Traxxas ones when I replaced the rear axle carriers so it's already repaired. I ran the machine today with no over tray and we had a lot more pavement. My motor temperature was about 40.!!!
