So far it's almost a carbon copy.. Haha. I won't copy your signature sharks mouth though!

And I have a couple other small things up my sleeve I'll share when completed. :-)

And you have a good weekend as well!

*The wheels are backwards and just there for fitment. Also have the 17mm adapters I need to install and mount tires/etc. And it still needs aligned...

Stanley, don't know if you know this but... your tires are on the wrong way, the tread is supposed to face the other way.

He knows. He wrote, "The wheels are backwards and just there for fitment." I'm not the only one to not read the posts all the way through? I'm not sure if I feel better (haste) or worse (uniqueness) about that!.

Haha yep - just slapped them on quick for fitment. Didn't care when they went on. I'm gonna have them out another 10mm with the 17mm adapters also. Still gotta install the motor and ESC, and a few other things.

I'm not totally sure yet... Whether to go mostly black with some blue accents like my SCT Slash, or more likely mostly blue with black accents. But one if those two most likely.

    Here's my Platinum paint job.

Well here it is as it sits. I didn't get the extra thing done that I mentioned that I "had up my sleeve". Maybe soon. Haha.

Thanks for allowing me to essentially copy your War Bajr body!

    It's got:

    -X duty shalfs
    -Protrac Kit
    -17mm (10mm offset) adapters
    -New MX28 Badlands on 17mm F11 wheels
-Forget what wing... But I had taken some ductwork and cut to shape and doubled up in both sides, then wrapped in black gorilla tape and drilled holes and ran screws. Seems to be holding well.. Couple cartwheels and all looks good!
    -Proline mounts and modified/etc
    -Stampede front stock bumper
    -RPM Stampede front bumper
    -Stampede Traxxas lights.

My upgrade powertrain had some issues on first run, so the stock VXL is back in there with a 13t pinion. Running 2s only...

Thanks! I just beat on it for a good 20 min and it only went belly up twice. It's very stable, nimble, etc and quick quick even with the stock VXL on 2s!

I forgot to mention I basically installed all the Platinum/Ultimate upgrades as well.

Glad you asked. There's not a lot if reviews out there in them yet.

Honestly I'm loving them. I thought there would be more ballooning (I'm not a fan of taping), but the ballooning isn't too bad at all (seems better than my 2.8 Trenchers in my opinion). No regrets.

I definitely prefer them over the Trenchers as well. And with the thicker lugs, they should hopefully do "ok" at not wearing too bad on pavement. I had them on my driveway a bit and seems like just enough slip to curb traction rolls (I like). I believe they are the M2 compound.

I had them on 3s yesterday too.. So my comments on the minimal ballooning should be valid for most circumstances too.

I have a pair of the old ones and love them, great tires for off roading, although mine do balloon a lot.

Again, great looking truck, have fun!

No problems with ballooning for me... but I tape all my tires before mounting them.

For the record, this was what I had up my sleeve... The goal was to be a shape shifter in that the buggy body can just hide under the bajr body.

I did accomplish that goal, but due to me buying a linger motor, I had to move the radio up front and it's more of a "monster buggy". Haha.

But still looks half decent really. It goes on with velcro and doesn't move. And the bajr body fits on top. It almost acts like a shroud to keep grass, dirt, rocks out.

Just got a little "bro lean" to it.

    And in bajr configuration again.

My rig has been in pieces for a while and haven't run the MX28 yet.
Just beginning to put it back together now.

Several other members have the MX28s.
Off hand, I can think of GeneralPede01, Sneetches, and Stanleybb50.
Probably more, but I can't remember them at the moment...

Iíve been slowly accumulating parts for some time now. I finally had the parts I needed and the time to put it all together recently.

I just want to thank Greg for bringing his custom Losi 8ight shock adapters back from the dead for me.

I read about his kit and contacted him by e-mail. He had not produced the parts in quite some time, but he contacted the waterjet guys who did it for him. They happened to have some sets still on their shelf. Greg got them from them, and now has some in stock (14 sets after mine). Contact Greg if you are interested.

    Read about them here:

    http://www.nuibe.com/rc/slash4x4/sho...ers/index.html

    and

    http://www.nuibe.com/rc/slash4x4/sho...all/index.html

Because the mounts are taller and wider, I had to chop up my Yeti cage and the front aluminum body panel. Also had to fab up a new front mount to cradle the cage. I think it works well. Also decided to make a front shock tower brace to help stiffen it up. For the rear shocks, I just added long shock ends to make up for the taller mounting location.

As you guys know, I purchased 2.8 Badlands MX28s. I picked up a set of 17mm 2.8 F-11s for it, but decided to give the 3.2 Stablemax Revolvers a try.

The Revolvers had a narrower offset compared to the F-11s and touched the cage/body at full compression and lock to lock.

Since I now had the extra set of F-11s, I ordered another set of
Badlands MX28s to mount on them. Problem was that I still wanted to give the 3.2 Revolvers a try.

What did I do? I picked up a set of Pro-Lineís ProTrac system. Since I did this, I had to get MIP Rusty male bones to adapt my X-Duty CVDs.

After I got the parts the instal went smoothly.

Next, I put a rear LED light bar on my rig, but it did not play nice with my front LED light bar. It must have a lower draw because when hooked in parallel (Y-Harness), it only powered the rear LED light bar. I purchased a new front LED light bar by the same manufacturer and all is well now.

    I think thatís it.

Oops! Almost forgot, I decided I wanted to try out the sensor (Smart Sense) capability of my MMX and crawl over the kidsí toys in my home! To accomplish this, I got a new motor: Tekin 1/8 T8 Gen2 2250kV.

It works well in the house, but I just finished my new mods and have not run it outdoors and up to speed yet.

I guess itís just testing and tuning left to do (slipper, punch control, brakes, suspension,...).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

    I introduce to you, YeSh.02

    Note:
    Why .02 and not 2.0?
I had to cover the two holes on the hood where the original mounting locations were. I used JB Weld and glued 2 pennies under the hood and filled the holes on top. Once dried, I sanded them down. I made sure the pennies were 2016 so that I would always remember what year I did that mod!

OK, enough ďtalkĒ and on to the pics:

Dude, I am blown away! That thing looks awesome! You just keep on getting better and better.

How do you like the Tekin vs the Castle you had in there?

also, what are those fins on the top of the cage made out of?

    Keep up the good work!

Main reason for the Tekin is so I can crawl around on top of my kids' toys in the home. Works great so far with less cogging.

Have not opened it up yet outdoors. Should be about the same as the 2200kV Castle. Should be just a touch faster since it is a 2250kV.

The fins on top are from T-Bone Racing:

So Squeegie, would I have any trouble attempting to copy your Backslash buggy configuration using a 2WD LCG Slash that's otherwise stock, but using the stock 12mm hexes and 2.8 Trenchers that I already have? Just get the wing, wing mount and body? Probably the Traxxas wheelie bar too? I've got the RPM Slash front bumper on there at the moment. It'll do for now, but I think the 2WD Backslashes were using a Rustler bumper?

I've only had mine for about a month now, so I don't know all the interchangeable stuff yet.
