OK. When I get a chance, I'll hook my Field Link card up to my ESC and double check the LVC. I was pretty sure I set it to 3.5V the other week.

    I'll probably check tomorrow.

I'll be busy today... my daughter is graduating 8th Grade today!

Before anyone can answer your question, what system, gears, and axles are you running, and what is your goal?
Best answer to your question will be from your IR temp gun!

I don't remember the size. I think they were the 5.5" versions.

If you look on eBay, there are many different variations of WarHawk decals.

I am running all stock electronics, gears, and axles in 2s.
I think I have a temp gun laying around somewhere. I will be ordering the trenchers today

Are you sure about your LVC setting? What's wrong with running both the LVA and having the LVC enabled?
Finally had a chance to check... LVC is still set to 3.5V.
I guess I'll run another pack through it and see what voltage it leaves me on after it cuts out.
I just may have to hook up my LVA if results are similar.

Yes. I spritzed water on the body so I could have some wiggle room. Once placed where I wanted it, I used a squeegee to get the excess water out from underneath the sticker.

Note: They also have the stickers with blue instead of red if that would help your paint scheme.

OK, I just moved my receiver box... again. I want to run my BackSlash body on my rig, but when the receiver is mounted up front, it sits way too high.

It's still a little high, but it is more back and slightly centered. Enough where it can work with the body. Now I have to figure out how to paint it!

Still not 100% if I like it there, but it will do for now...

Definitely need to take your time. The adhesive is super strong and the wrap is pretty thick. Can be a little tricky in some places but a little patience pays off. They even give two different versions of the windows(which I didnt see till after I had the windows applied) which is pretty cool. After installed you need to apply heat to it. I used the Wifes hair dryer and it actually bonds the outer coating to the decal. Wierd to explain but nice. Almost dont wanna run it now but it seems pretty durable. Highly recommended.

Yeah, I meant to add that in my reply and I didnt see yours. It does seem very durable. I was actually surprised buy how heavy it feels. Definitely worth the price. I did do a best offer. I have to check what they settled for.

EDIT: I got it from gear-junkies for $25 shipped.

OK, stupid question here, do you apply the wrap to the inside of the body like paint or does it go on the outside like a sticker?

Squeegie - Did you make the receiver mounting bracket or is that an aftermarket part one can purchase? I have my receiver box up front like you did but want to move it so I can use my chassis brace again.

I made the receiver bracket out of brass that I had at home.

I made one out of paper first. Used it as a template, then cut, bent, and drilled it out as necessary.
Once complete, I painted it black.

I also used brass to make a custom bracket for my LED light bar and another for a custom bracket to hold my GPS cyclometer mount to move it towards the center of the chassis.

    Why?

I bought a BackSlash body about the same time I bought my BAJR body, but completed the BAJR first. It's about time I put some time into the BackSlash. Just about done with it now. Just have to figure out what I want to do about protecting the front shock tower.

Also in my pile of new, but unused parts... a VG Racing Rally roll cage for my Slash. Don't know if I like it yet. It sits kind of high and makes the rig too tall.

I'll try to take pics of it when I take pics of the BackSlash...

Thanks, the wrap is applied to the outside of the shell. A good wipe down of the shell with alchohol before application is all the prep work needed. It applies in sections with lots of patience. Then a good once over with a heat gun to "gel" the protective coating to it.

    A few more pix here...

OK... I'm just a bout done with the BackSlash body conversion on my rig. Just a few simple changes and I can easily change the look of my rig from WarBAJR II, to the BackSlash (still no name for it).

I had to move my receiver back and more centered to fit the JConcepts Illusion RC8e Hi-Flow body. I also had to move my GPS Cyclometer more toward the center of the chassis. Made brackets out or scrap brass:

Once I moved everything, I decided to fab up a new lower front bumper (RPM Slash front bumper with RC4WD 3" LED Light Bar) and something to protect my front shock tower when I flip:

Decided that I want to see my cyclometer readings without having to remove the body. I masked off a "sunroof" so I could see inside:

Very nice! Is that light bar bright enough for night driving (i.e. do the smaller bulbs throw a large enough pattern)?

I don't night drive. It's more just to show off.

I only have it powered by the 6V ESC. It's supposed to run off the battery and is rated to 11.1 volts.

Squeegie, can I ask a favor?

Can I see a picture of a G Loc right next to a Trencher? I have a set of G Locs coming, but they give no specs on their website. Once it gets cold again, I might order Trenchers too.

    Thank You.

They have a rather small diameter:

    SPECIFICATIONS
    Inner Diameter: 2.8" (71mm)
    Outer Diameter: 3.8" (96mm)
    Width: 2" (50mm)
