    Using E-Revo wheels (5374A) on Traxxas T-maxx 2.5 4910

Will the 5374A traxxas e-revo wheels work on the T-maxx 2.5 4910 (14mm hub)? The problem is that most sites state that the wheels are only for e-revo and there is no mention of compatibility with the T-maxx 2.5 (4910). Any ideas on if it's possible? I've seen the 5374X Traxxas wheels but that would require the 14-17mm conversion on top.

They fit. Here are the 14mm hex version on the front of the wifes 4910.

The "A" are 14mm hubs. You are fine.

Awesome @Wildman4910, is it possible to see some more pics while it's still and with case off? What about the performance - is it affected in any way with the 5374A wheels on? I'm not sure what impact there would be on the engine and servos having smaller/larger rims/tires.

They are roughly the same size as the old chevrons, and are a little lighter, the rim is larger but the tire diameter isn't by much.
One of the first upgrades I did was some 230oz MG servos for the steering, best upgrade you can do.
Second best upgrade is a 1100~1700mah 6Volt hump pack, beats the AA's hands down.

Those are what comes on the T~Maxx 3.3 4907.
I won them on ebay for dirt cheap, and haven't run them yet, been running the Badlands or SportTraxx lately.

The tires like on my wifes truck is usually how I run them, as run in a lot of sandy areas.

@Wildman4910 wish we had some sand over here in the UK - I'm mainly looking to run the 2.5 on tarmac and grass. Would the 3.3 wheels be too big to put on the 2.5? I know the stock 3.3 rims/wheels have the 14mm hub but not sure if it would put too much strain on the 2.5 engine with the big wheels (got the MG high torque servos). If you could try placing the big 3.3 wheels on the 2.5 (with pictures) and see if there's any noticeable reduction in performance compared to the wheels currently on the 2.5, that'd be really great. Hope your wife won't mind

@Wildman4910 realized the gearing on the 2.5 would probably have to be adjusted with the 3.3 big tires so it's best to stick with the sporttraxx/badlands as you mentioned. Thanks for the posts.

They aren't that much bigger, at worst you would lose a little bottom end and gain a little speed.

And that's easy to change by dropping a a tooth or 2 on the clutch bell.

That said you won't be disappointed in either the Badlands or the SportTraxx.

@Wildman4910 would you know if the hurricane rims fit the sporttraxx tires?

Also, would the sporttraxx need duck tape on the inside to prevent any ballooning?

As long as you get the 3.8 SportTraxx tires they will fit all traxxas bead 3.8 rims.

If I was gonna buy rims I would get the split spoke instead of the Hurricanes.

I tape all my tires, it keeps them from ballooning.
