    Cool Using Kyosho DRX body (chassis mod)

    Hello guys,
    I always want to use Ford Fiesta body with my Slash 4wd, but I don't know why no brand (Traxxas, Protoform or Delta) make then.
    So I start a research to see how can I fit a HPI WR8 or Kyosho DRX In my Slash.
    Luck with few changes is possible use a DRX body
    For this, I change the suspension arms, turnbuckles and drive shafts.
    I used all this itens from Bandit:
    4x TRA2750R - Suspension arms (rear) ;
    4x TRA2444 - Turnbuckles Camber Link 47mm ;
    4x TRA2751 - Half shaft pro pack ,bandit.
    For the drive shaft I need to cut a little.

    Unfortunately, I canīt use the WR8 or DRX wheels, they donīt fit in front steering. So I use a 1/8 GT wheel. But its work fine with regular Slash wheels.

    Take a look on some shots and enjoy

    Its perform good, lot of fun.

    The only issue is if your tires have too high grip, the car will flip on turns. The body is too high.

    Next time in track I will try do some videos to post here

    Oh, I never even thought of that with the bandit arms. I saw a similar thing done to fit a Subaru rally body on a slash but they modified the arms to work. Looks pretty cool !

    Guys, take a look this body from . . .
    Its a generic Fiesta. I think its fits on Slash 4wd without mod.

    Vinil cut to mask and fabric paint water based. Here in Brazil its cheaper to paint with this tint.

    That looks amazing.

    So what would I need to fit the 1/9 bodies onto a trx rally?

    Also where can I buy vynal masks do you just ask the seller's to print some backwards?

    Awesome video!

    What springs and shock oil are you running? Just off hand from looking at the video, it looks rather overpsrung especially in the rear. With some tuning, I bet you could get that rally car handling even better.

    I now have the kyosho landmax lancer evo 4 body. Do I need to shorten the arms ect to fit it?

    I thought the kyosho drx body was much smaller than the landmax body. I don't have the evo 4 body yet it's in post. $110 from usa I hope it just fits the slash directly like another thread suggests.

    I really wish it was the ford rs cosworth body. I would have paid more for that in new condition. Do I paint the evo std livery or get it air brushed?
