    1/16 revo won't move

If the slipper clutch pads are bad will it cause the truck not to move?

It depends how bad they are. Is the motor trying to move? Maybe just try tightening the slipper clutch.
This will TOTALLY work, saw a guy on YouTube do it

The pad looks pretty worn down I've had the truck since the first day it came out. Tightening the slipper clutch doesn't make a difference and diffs are fairly new.

With the gear cover removed, you can hold the transmission shaft (with a small allen wrench thru the shaft sticking out the front) and turn the spur gear by hand to feel how loose the slipper is.

    Many possibilities:

    Motor unglued
    Bad slipper pads
    Slipper needs tightening
    Bad pinion/spur mesh
    Bad pinion or spur
    Broken/stripped tranny gears
    Broken shaft drives
    .

Gotta start taking things apart to properly diagnose!

Good luck and keep us posted!

I've had the truck since the first day it came out and the new slipper pad vs the old looks nothing like it. I just have to put it back together and test it.

I had this symptom - in my case i had melted the slipper into the spur gear - needed new spur and clutch disc - got to love 3S Lipo
