E-Maxx, Traxxas CVD, RPM True Track A arms

It was probably said somewhere but just to clarify.

If you are using the RPM true track rear A arms with the Traxxas CVD 5451R you absolutely need the Traxxas drive cup 5153R (2 of them), else the drive shaft will get out of cup and in normal driving.

You only need them at the back. In the front even with the RPM A arm it is not needed and will not fit. You will have binding in extreme suspension travel.

I just installed the CVDs in mine and I already have the true-track I don't see what the issue is? I have very little play in the axles. Is there some way to tell?

Just remove the blue boot at the differential side. Push on your rear wheel to have maximum compression of the suspension (it will be worst if your shock are mounted more vertically). Turn your wheel so the pin at the end of the drive shaft is pointing down (or up if your truck is upside town) and you will see that the pin is getting out of the cup.

Here a photo of mine with the 5153R just to show you how to check it.
