Thanks Maxx. I get my direction from the same place as you, and use RC-ing as a way to show the younger guys how to get outside, get off their phones (except for telemetry...lol), and how to have good clean all American fun.

Your certainly on track with your statements RegularGuy! You're also a good example of how we should conduct our lives and have fun in this Traxxas E-MAXX brushless hobby of our's!

Your feedback in this forum has assisted a lot people, I am sure, regarding their E-MAXX and has helped them to enjoy having exchanges with you! I trust you had a good Christmas: so, Happy New Year to you as well sir!

There is no way to recover the old tag parameters to re-insert the pictures back into the thread is what they told me.

It had repercussions in every thread I started in the last year on Traxxas.

They are all still there but won't show on the site because they were automatically reassigned new tags when I deleted the pictures I didn't want. Nowhere did Screencast indicate that this would happen when deleting photos in an album, they only stated if the album was deleted it would happen.

Well no kidding I said to them; but do you realize how long it is going to take me to re-post hundreds of pictures on top of the fact I can't edit old posts and they said sorry about your luck in which I said sorry about yours Screencast you just lost my support and money.

Just a shady tactic on their part, but I hated having to remind them that I paid for their services which were no better than free photo hosting sites as far as I'm concerned. At least if something happens likes this with Imgur I can't complain because it is free until they pull what every other picture web hosting site is pulling recently.

P.S. - If you get this resolved, please let me know how Photobucket did it so I can pass it along to Screencast as their inept attempts at restoring my pictures is really frustrating at this point. I paid them good money every month and this tactic is no different than what Photobucket did by holding peoples photos hostage until they paid up.

Money isn't the issue, it is the fact that I was lied to and I would rather be ripped off than lied to because then I would understand their ignorance better.
    Flux Capacitor,

FYI, I did not remove any of pictures on the Traxxas forums which cause this to happen. However, from what I have received so far; there were some technical issues they were working on regarding those pictures in forums. Also, the pictures are still to be found online at various internet services.

I will inform you of the information regarding the picture issues. Thank you for sharing your info Flux Capacitor!!

I appreciate the response. However, if it were a technical issue, then I would have two questions I would be asking Photobucket if I were you. Firstly, I noticed that it affected your pictures in your other thread (Maxx Twins 3905's / first question) as well and secondly, why is everyone else's photos from Photobucket still up on the Traxxas site?

A third point that I want to make, is that regardless of whether or not you removed pictures from the Traxxas site, if the album that your Traxxas pictures are in had other pictures of non-Traxxas material and you deleted those that had nothing to do with the Traxxas Forum, the end result would still be that all your pictures were reassigned new tags in that album (breaking links) and you possibly could be waiting for some bad news from Photobucket.

How else could it be explained that your pictures in an entirely different thread were also affected? I got burned by the belief that deleting pictures in a Traxxas album that were accidentally placed there by me, by mistake, would have no effect on the already posted pictures in the album for Traxxas by Screencast.

A side-note worth mentioning also, is that the photos I deleted in the Traxxas album were posted before all the other photos that disappeared and thus shifted all my pictures in the album up a level to accommodate the blank space left behind by the deleted photos, thus again, breaking links to all available photos in the album because of the auto reassignment of links.

I honestly believe that this is a tactic used by various photo hosting sites and not a flaw to allow the photo hosting site to preserve bandwidth because it is sure easier for them to host a blank block versus hosting a whole picture. Something to think about for sure; although, I wish that they would forewarn their paying customers of this so called technicality.

Turns out, the same technical BS they gave me that Photobucket is giving you, is possibly a lie because how else could it be explained that every photo I posted in the last year on Traxxas disappeared; yet is still in the album just like you are pointing out?

Bottom line is, I think all your photos were reassigned tags automatically and the "This image is currently unavailable" dialog that appears on the site is misleading because the photos are available in the album, but were reassigned new tags thus breaking all the links to the available photos in that album.

I'm just giving you a few things to question them about because after all, you are paying for their services and being lied to is different than being ripped off.

I see that most of your photos are back, so obviously Photobucket must have accidentally told the truth for once! I would be inclined to now ask you if they shared with you what the technicality was and how they corrected it. Why did it only affect your photos and not hundreds of other customers if it were a so called technicality as they put it?

Screencast was not very forthcoming with me when it came to my photos disappearing and a little investigative work on my end was required to pry the truth out of them. Hopefully, Photobucket shared with you the nature of the technicality that caused your photos to disappear for a while and in turn, I would hope that you could share with the site what happened.

After I busted Screencast in a lie, they told me that broken links could not be repaired, thus rendering most of my threads useless. You could probably understand my frustration and anger because of this and now all hope is lost of re-inserting my photos into those threads.

I would still like to understand better what happened with your photos there for a couple of days because obviously it first appeared to look like what happened to me and now it appears that is not the case.

    Flux-Capacitor,

First of all, this was an answer to prayers. Primarily I am grateful to serve the ONE Who even endorsed the hobby I've had.

HE'S the ONE which selected and directed me to Traxxas!! From what I have understood so far, it was not just myself that was challenged regarding those pics.

Others also had lost their pics as well. I trust theirs are being restored too!

Looking forward to gaining a greater understanding of what the difficulties were; especially since those pictures are back. I'm sure they will contact me even more since they are resolving their computer issues.

FYI, a few years ago, I was a computer programmer. However, technical knowledge of what had occurred was not the answer. So, that's why I ask for help regarding the issue from the ONE which allowed me to have and enjoy Traxxas' E-MAXX.!

    HAPPY '2020" New Year!!!

    Thank you again Flux Capacitor!

Yep, I'm yet doin' more things with E-MAXX! My personal opinion of course, the E-MAXX is one of the best R. C. MONSTER trucks. It was continually upgraded by Traxxas and of course to a brushless version. Brushless E-MAXX's are still special.

I checked out other manufactures and did not purchase anything other than the E-MAXX. I have noticed that other manufactures endeavored to compete with, and to make close to identical, this monster truck. Well, again that's just my opinion!

Yep! Yet enjoying the Traxxas E-MAXX brushless builds. Still online investigating those many parts famous because of E-MAXX!

These pics are only an affirmation of what I have enjoyed doin'.

The only thing left to advance the brushless builds is brushless motors and I am focusing on those parts regarding these three Traxxas Brushless E-MAXX builds.

I think it's safe to say that your Emaxx builds are not only beautiful, but are considered Rembrandts by the worlds leading artistic authorities (I heard that from a very reliable source, by the way). (lol)

Now don't let my ReglarGuy compliment go to your head, Max. (lol) I'm not saying that your E-Maxx builds are more artistic than a Rembrandt or a Leonardo da Vinci, but if both of these guys were alive today, I'm sure you'd get at least two Christmas cards every year...just saying. (lol)

Well, here are some pics of the 1/8th scale brushless build of the E-MAXX ! Again, I am a Traxxas E-MAXX fan.

More pics of this fun hobby to come.......

YET AND STILL LOOKING FOR UPGRADES FOR THESE TWO R. C. TRAXXAS builds due to the (at this time) none availability of certain brushless-motor-combos. However, still enjoying other aspects of the hobby due to TRAXXAS!

THE BUILD BELOW IS VERY CLOSE TO BEING COMPLETED - THOUGH!

That body is really cool. I really like the fender flares and hood scoop. I put hood scoops on my bodies too, but never thought about fender flares.

Due to TRAXXAS's inspirations, the construction and designs of the-body builds have been fun - ReglarGuy! I'm also thankful for your input as well. I like that truck body you've posted! I'm also working on other body builds as well; including a truck, considering I like the designs of Monster TRUCKS.

Hmm, all that is now missing for this build is batteries! It has been a lot of E-MAXX Brushless fun! Oh and more than likely, I will be advancing the brushless motor and esc connection as well. The you again TRAXXAS!

I trust that the brushless motor and esc wires are looking better than before. Your exchanges and considerations with me does matter in this forum.

I've written this numerous times, TRAXXAS has inspired this hobby: specifically, with their E-MAXX Addition in the E-MAXX and Brushless E-MAXX forums.

These Traxxas E-MAXXs which are being converted to brushless versions; have been lots of fun also. Now, I am searching for the next eight-scale-brushless combo. I think it may be as much fun as the previous one, even though there has been some upgrades of the brushless combos.

    Thanks always TRAXXAS!!

    This is the next one:

Well Sypsp, I'm glad you're an TRAXXAX E-MAXX fan also. I have enjoyed the E-MAXX for the last eleven-or-so years. That's one of the reasons why I'm yet having fun.

The E-MAXX seems to be still popular, considering E-MAXX parts are yet available on and in various websites. Thank you for your exchange Sypsp!

Now beginning the final upgrades for another TRAXXAS BRUSHLESS E-MAXX hobby build! This has been much fun as a hobby: specifically, considering the SOURCE of being able to do so!! I trust you've recognized - WHO - I AM - referring.

The upgrades have been and are 1/8th scale. This particular brushless motor is a Tekin Redline T8 GEN3 4038 1/8 Truggy Competition Brushless Motor (2250kV) and yes I am preparing for the 1/8th scale ESC to be added.

There are still yet, a couple of more builds I have been enjoying: but, this was the absolute first build after I purchased my first E-MAXX.

Well, if TRAXXAS, once again, begins to market their very famous E-MAXX's; it will be exciting to know what the Brushless E-MAXX is to become!

Oops again! Not sure why there are duplicate images - once again. Forgive me please and I will research why that took place the second time. You all know, I am an E-MAXX fan though. And - that's why I am correcting myself regarding any improper displays of TRAXXAS' BRUSHLESS E-MAXX

    Greetings!!
Old guy/new member/new to the hobby.

Was bored a cpl months ago, and was on Amazon. I found a deal on a 1/18th rc. Zips around great indoors, n on pavement light dirt. $80 2 batteries, charger. does 30mph. So that got me thinking. Hmmm new hobby? Last kid half way through high school. Old lady's been on me to find something to do! or divorce. Either way I'd be good...lol

Ok I'll bite n look at hobby grade! Probably be cheaper than plan B.
1st off brushless is the way to go I read...Okay!!

Well found an used Emaxx brushless. Later name changed to ab/used Emaxx. Wasn't planning on spending a lot initially...bahahahah!
So that's why I thought used?
    Dumb *****!!!!
Went and looked at it. NiMH's were fully charged. Buddy said have at it. So I drove that thing till the batteries died. Was awesome!! I bought it on the spot, $400!! Had a brand new body. Buddy said stay away from lipo unless you wanna fix. Should have triggered an alarm. But didn't know anything about these machines. Just spent 30 mins ripping around was awesome. Took it home played hard for a few days. Kids were like wow Dad, that's cool!! Old lady just shook her head...I was happy for a change!!

Oh sure y'all notice this. BACK OFF!!

So 1st thing was Lipo's...because I was told not too?? Charger would do them. $60 on Amazon.
Isn't that the way it goes...Do not, so you do!! Many times over the years lol
    WOW what a difference!!
WOW...that didn't last long. Broke a drive shaft!!

Ordered a cpl. $40 Replaced it. Next time out snapped another. This is what he was talking about...had a spare. Took it apart, missing an inner wheel bearing? Nice...well might as well do whole front end new bearings. $40.
Then I started looking at the truck. Noticed a rear suspension pin was busted. So that lead to noticing a cracked lower suspension arm and a cracked rear bulkhead. No real air time or impacts by me at this point. So was def pre-existing.
Well (blank) me!! I ordered rears RPM bulks, might as well do fronts. $60.
Suspension?? Since the lower rear arm was cracked. Ordered the RPM True Track Kit. $60
Then while I was at it ordered RPM A-Arms for the front. $35
Since I had snapped 2 shafts and want to go up to 6s yet. I ordered 4 steel Hot Racing Shafts. $110
Got me looking at centers, Might as well match the drives. Since there's play in the eyelets and looking rather warn out. Ordered Hot Racing centers. $60.
Then ordered aluminum front axle carriers as they're the same price as plastic. $35

So I was 75% rebuilt, waiting on a couple parts. But went to for a lil rip. Felt the need!!
Radio started acting up, I thought? With me being new, I bought an used radio from a guy $65. Installed it.
Same deal...would turn fine on stand. Not in field with weight.
Talked to guy I bought from, reassured me it was fine.
Suggested look at Servo!! So ordered 2 new 20 kg for it. $50.
What's to look at? Just replace! Figured might as well do both for equal push pull.

So here it sits waiting for the last couple of parts to arrive.
I haven't tallied up what I've spent in the last 60 days. Kinda scared, couple grand probably. Because there's more, Like tools, a little compressor to blow them off. Was thinking about an airbrush as well for doing bodies. (ordered)
Also bought a Chrome book for online access while wrenching. Watching vids or whatever. Logitech 5.1 surround. Added work lights. I had to set up a whole little area. Do it right or don't do it!!

    Get a hobby they said...Ok!!

So for this afternoon. I'm off to grab an non ab/used Brushless 4X4 Rustler.

I find it's like Lays Chips...
    Betcha can't have just one!!
    Cheers!!

You’re sounding very hobby minded! That’s basically how this desire is fulfilled!! If this makes sense, “Make sure you’re simply having fun to enjoy your hobby! By the way my Grandmother is now approaching one-hundred and seven years old, because of her attitude regarding her family, I’m yet a very young hobbyist.

Oh and if your responding to RegularGuy, he is very kind in his responses to help you also!

    Cool

    107, That's incredible!

I'm having a blast so far. Picked up that Rustler today. Was basically RTR minus charger. Has a few upgrades, will be getting more is my guess, Because isn't that how it goes?

Loved those pics Maximum. Was drooling actually...Do you use those trucks?

Was just looking at one of those FLM chassis.
Do you have to use those shafts it comes with?
Have all matching hot racing shafts now.
Really tempted to order one though $68...take my money!!
Need a motor mount, and what else?
I could keep all the new RPM. Make it like a cyborg
Half plastic on a metal base.
This is gonna be a blast!!
Where do you guys get order your parts?? I find Amazons 3rd party vendors really gouge some times. But then the Amazon return policy has saved my bacon a couple times.
So far Amazon, Amain for me.

    One more question...for now lol
I have a couple of led lights that I want to add underneath for fun and an aux switch. How do I access another channel on my TQI remote to turn them on and off. Also it's a 4a switch. Running on lipo on using channel 3 will they be getting pack voltage?
I hooked them up with out the switch and they're really bright...wondering on 6s if they're gonna melt or something if I use them. Was just using the NiMHs it came with for trying lights.

    Here's the switch link https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    LED link https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sorry for the long winded posts...so much to learn.

    Thanks!!

    mrhiab,

I suggest you post your questions in this Brushless E-MAXX forum. That will allow those in this forum to assist you with their information. So, again please post your questions.

Furthermore, please note, none of us have built, upgraded or repaired the same exact way. That will also cause others (with your posting’s) to assist you more than my responses from the forum to help you sir! I have had much investigating on line to gain knowledge for this hobby.

You can locate the chassis on eBay also. Your questioning sir is certainly okay with me; but I have not learned as much as all those in these forums.

That's one of the biggest problems with Integy is that you can't get a hold of them. They don't have phone number, and they don't answer emails. One of the best ways to deal with Integy is through your (LHS). That way if you get a defective part, you don't have to buy it, and they have to deal with it. Make sure, though, to ask your (LHS) how they deal with a defective ordered part first before you order.

Another way to deal with Integy is by using Amazon or eBay, just make sure to check the return policy of the vender first, and the last (and best) way (IMO), is how I do it. I've on occasion used the above ways, but I always try to see it in my (LHS) first, try it out in the store, and if everything looks good I get it. The big things to remember with using Integy is to try not to use them, they don't have any customer support at all, and make sure you have your butt covered if you buy one of their parts.
Life's to short to be a sour puss.

No issues so far though regarding that particular manufacture of parts. And certain particular parts, I do not purchase anyway; which can hinder the builds that should be the best representatives for TRAXXAS' E-MAXX RegularGuy. Thanks always for the information!!

I certainly had to keep researching to discover the next part necessary for this TRAXXAS BRUSHLESS E-MAXX build. No, I had not completed this build, which I thought.

What was added and necessary was the sensor wires for this Team Orion Vortex VST 2 PRO 690 4P 2100KV 1/8th scale MOTOR, which is obviously connected to the Team Orion VORTEX R8 PRO ESC. The next level of research is utilizing the instruction manual. Thankfully, I am being assisted and directed by THE LORD to help me in this leisure-time-hobby as well.

For those who are yet still accepting the TRAXXAS BRUSHLESS E-MAXX, it has yet been a 'ton of fun' as a hobby.
