Yeah i like e maxx better also. Have owned both.
Out of the box the e revo is more durable but some upgrade make the e maxx very solid.
E revo is great but i like MONSTERS
When i Google things the old post shows up, like what did you do with your e maxx today.
Why have someone removed all other threads from the e maxx forum?
I will sure check all post in this going brushless topic![]()

Montell - I really like the E-Maxx's too! I can't be convinced otherwise: even though I like the E-Revo and Summit also. The builds to me are fun!!!![]()

Kellerman, I'm not sure why the threads seem to be less. You can always check with the individuals that monitor our threads and send them a message. They are good at what they do:
ksb51rl, BobR, cooleocool, carraig042, Propsmoke, Texas Wheelman, sofasticantseeit, Dadx2mj
Oh - by the way - I like monster trucks too.....

Okay - does anyone know how to upload pics for the forums anymore without being charged to do so? I have completed some updates on the trucks that I want to share. Thanks for you assistance.![]()

Thank you Slashcrazy! I was online and seen several alternatives to what I used earlier and all the sites were not very negotiable for sharing pics. Thanks again - I'll check your suggestion out!

Well, we have moved to NorCal and making the necessary adjustments. Looking forward to posting more pics, finding hobby-shops and communicating again in this forum.![]()

Hello E-Maxx brushless experts!
I have a question of which I have not found an answer - so far. I'm looking for a 23T aluminum servo horn that will work in one of the E-MAXX builds I'm doing. Does anyone have any knowledge of such a thing? If not, I will have to purchase another 25T servo. In advance, thanks for your help!![]()

If this helps.

Well I know Integy has some 23T but not sure if you already looked at those. They seem big in the rc flying circles but that's probably due to the servos they choose for maybe weight, but not sure.
There is a lot of them out there just not sure on compatibility for the rig your doing but anything could be made to work as you know in this Hobby lol.
Rain Dawg, I agree 100 %! So, even if I don't find that 23T E-Maxx servo horn, I know there is another way of solving this hobby challenge.Hey Rain Dawg, I was just on Integy's site looking and probably at those horns you saw. I was thinking about calling them. Upgrades to these builds are not, as you wrote, limited to what is sold. I may even have some made just to finished certain items for the build and upgrades as well. It's a E-MAXX (brushless) hobby, that for me means I am having fun
....

Okay I am excited about posting these upgrades. Why? I AM a Traxxas E-MAXX FAN and that will not change. The upgrades I did were fun for me to do. Also, there was a build from scratch too!
I anticipate sharing again!! Even though the E-MAXX, at this time is not being built by Traxxas, it's still one of the best R. C. Monster Trucks!!! Oh: still looking for the brushless combos though. They are the most fun to locate and the most $$$$. But, it will be done ya'll!! These is a relaxing hobby for me.![]()

For those that can recall, there are two other E-Maxx maximum-upgrades I was working on from the stock 3905s. I called them #1 (color-blue influenced) and #2 (silver-color influenced) E-Maxxs. Here's what they use to look like before I desired to convert to brushless monster trucks. I still think that the E-MAXX is one the best radio controlled monster trucks that were ever made. Here's what they looked like during the upgrades!
Here is the #1 E-MAXX upgraded presently:

Also, I am still researching online online to purchase the 1/8th scale brushless motor-combo for these two E-MAXXs as well! Yes, you got it, I am an E-MAXX hobby-man these days - for the past ten years.![]()
I have researched and have discovered, there are no replacements for Traxxas' E-MAXX. And there are others not in this Traxxas forum who have determined the same thing.
Even they know there's no substitutes for this well know R. C. Monster truck. So, they are ridding themselves of what they endeavored to substitute for their E-MAXX:![]()

Oops, I meant well "known"! What's the latest info regarding the brushless E-Maxx? Asking cause' of the fan of the E-Maxx - I have been.
You have a lot of cool factor going on with Superman and Batman holding the Emaxx's lol, super nice builds. We have been running the MM2 with the 2200kv that's been solid for us in one and the Titan 775 with the EVX2 in the second. Not sure what to suggest for combo's we have just as much fun with the brushed 775 as we do the brushless.

The Emaxx will live on, to many of us have them and lots of parts still available but a 2.0 version would be nice lol.

Here's two additional parts (wheelie bars) still, while I am on the way to going brushless for trucks #1 and #2.
There's one thing that is outstanding regarding going brushless; the E-MAXX still has multiple parts available for those who like their Traxxas E-MAXX hobby. Now, I cannot say thank you too much to Traxxas for creating their E-MAXX! Thank you again Traxxas!!

Yep - I am - still - yet a E-MAXX fan ya'll!Not sure what will advance my perception of this particular Traxxas Monster Truck.
I enjoyed it very much when I purchased one ten years ago. Also, purchase one for my son at the same time! Is there anyone else that has a similar opinion? Just curious …

Yet having fun with E-MAXX
That's how it is for some of us, I'm sure! It's good to know this forum is still functioning cause' of people's exchange regarding the Traxxas E-MAXX! Thanks again and again Traxxas for creating the E-MAXX! And yes, I am still building and learning more and more regarding this particular monster truck.![]()

This above pic is one of the reasons I have enjoyed this hobby. The parts have been exceptional regarding their availability. I am still convinced the E-Maxx has definitely and positively impacted the R. C. Monster truck hobbies. Yep, this has still been a ton of fun...... Certainly, that's just my opinion.
This is an enevitable upgrade for the builds. I am still online researching. More pics to come!

I stand humbled by your Emaxx greatness. (lol) I've always been a super-duper Emaxx fan, but after looking at all your pictures of your beautiful Emaxx's you're definitely the super-est duper-est Emaxx fan that has ever stepped foot on the planet Earth. God bless you brother. You're an inspiration to all us ReglarGuy's. (lol)![]()
Life's to short to be a sour puss.
ReglarGuy;I was inspired by Traxxas' E-MAXX via a directive from my Heavenly Father!
In this hobby, I am only inspired by The Source
that granted me access to greet people like you and God Bless you also brother RegularGuy. Now you know how and why I remain an E-MAXX fan!!

I don’t know if here or the Maxx nitro trucks is the right place to post about conversions. Since they are Nitro trucks but after the conversion they kind of become EMaxxes
Hi Dakrafink!
This is an E-MAXX Brushless forum. I trust this is a correct response to you sir. If you scroll to the top of this forum page, you will be able to identify this forum. Check it out sir. Our exchange, in the forum, is regarding Traxxas' E-MAXX brushless Monster Truck. Even-though, the E-MAXX brushless is currently not being produced, there are yet many E-MAXX brushless hobby fans.

I thought it was time to honor the Traxxas E-MAXX designers!!!
Something that has impressed me is, a great majority of the hobby shops I've gone to had a tremendous amount of E-MAXX parts and aftermarket supplies over the years. It has been, not just my hobby, the hobby shops certainly endorsed the E-MAXX.
There were hobby shops that also desired to see the finished work of the hobbyist. I've been in hobby shops that displayed customized E-MAXX's. To me their attitudes, regarding the E-MAXX, was not just to sell a product; they seemed to really have enjoyed the E-MAXX!
So to the E-MAXX owners, your doing just fine owning a Traxxas Brushless E-MAXX!

These are out of this world, nice builds
Wow, not sure what happened with those pics. I have and will be investigating the issue.![]()

Looks like Photobucket did to you what Screencast did to me. I deleted only two pictures from an album that exclusively hosts my Traxxas pictures and all of the sudden, all my pictures were reassigned new tags automatically because the empty space in the album relocated every picture in the album. There is no way to recover the old tag parameters to re-insert the pictures back into the thread is what they told me.
It had repercussions in every thread I started in the last year on Traxxas.
They are all still there but won't show on the site because they were automatically reassigned new tags when I deleted the pictures I didn't want. Nowhere did Screencast indicate that this would happen when deleting photos in an album, they only stated if the album was deleted it would happen.
Well no kidding I said to them; but do you realize how long it is going to take me to re-post hundreds of pictures on top of the fact I can't edit old posts and they said sorry about your luck in which I said sorry about yours Screencast you just lost my support and money.
Just a shady tactic on their part, but I hated having to remind them that I paid for their services which were no better than free photo hosting sites as far as I'm concerned. At least if something happens likes this with Imgur I can't complain because it is free until they pull what every other picture web hosting site is pulling recently.
P.S. - If you get this resolved, please let me know how Photobucket did it so I can pass it along to Screencast as their inept attempts at restoring my pictures is really frustrating at this point. I paid them good money every month and this tactic is no different than what Photobucket did by holding peoples photos hostage until they paid up.
Money isn't the issue, it is the fact that I was lied to and I would rather be ripped off than lied to because then I would understand their ignorance better.
