    Channel set up

I am new to rc cars, I purchased the slash 4x4 ultimate.
I am trying to learn how to get the throttle switch and t lock switch on my transmitted to control my fans, I installed the fans but when plugged in they stay on. Can someone help me out?

Welcome to the forum and the addiction! You are among a group of people who share the love of the Traxxas Slash 4x4! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Remember we are here to help!

To my knowledge you can not do that. The TQI is only a two channel transmitter. You need a third channel. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

My receiver is a 5 channel and I purchased a transmitter that has 4 channels. I just have no idea how to get the switches to control anything.

You probably need one of these:

When I had my TQi 6507X, I could turn my lights on and off with it hooked up to the toggle switch on top of the controller (channel 4). Should be just as simple to plug your fans into it instead.

    I'm wondering the same.

    That's what I'm doing.

I was just using the fans as an example, I just needed to know what to do if I wanted to set up an on off type set up with my transmitter.
