Attaboy! I was just happy to have some wheels. Kids these days are driving (and expecting) $20,000+ vehicles.

Exactly! So many kids these days drive $20,000 cars for their first car. In Vancouver, B.C., which I live 1 hour from, Its considered a rich city because everything their is expensive. Therefore, I see 17-19 year olds driving Jags and BMW's for their first car. (I'm a little jealous, but I'm fine with a $5000 car). Their still are cars for sale under $6000 which are good enough for getting me from University and Back to home. I'm worried about Gas. Its quite expensive where I live.

Just for proof of what I can get for $6000:

If I bought this, my Dad would probably be Jealous. I would probably buy that, give it to my Dad and then get his GMC Yukon XL 2006. I like Trucks.

    EDIT:
I wish I could buy a Car right now. I've found 2 Ford Mustangs that are beatiful, 1 Dodge Charger (Above), and a 1977 Chevrolet Impala Blue.

There's no reason you cant buy a car, I'm only 14 and I already have 3 all of which need tons of work but still they're mine and I'm proud.

I could buy them. Just have a few problems.

    1. My budget used to be $6000 until I found out Insurance cost $3000 for a beginner driver. :'(

    2. I don't have $6000 yet.

    3. My Parents probably wouldn't want another car in the driveway. As of now we have 8 Cars in our Driveway. (Thankfully we have a long driveway). Reason is that my Sister moved back in with us along with her Husband because they are building a house. And my Omi sold her house to move in with my Sister when the house is done so we have over 12 people living in one house. O.O

Newest addition to the stable 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport 1.5 turbo 6 speed manual transmission. Even though it's a FWD grocery getting it is still a phenomenal "driver's" car.Ordered specially WITHOUT all the infotainment do-dads and driver assist aids. The new kid is now sharing a garage with 2001 Yamaha V-Max, 2010 Klx250s, 1989 Honda VTR 250, a 1990 Miata , and 2003 2wd Ford Ranger

2016 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i Limited with every option except Eyesight. Bought it (barely) used this past February, with 3909 miles on it the day I picked her up! Should have many miles of adventure, carrying bicycles, camping gear and kayak.

Now I just need a Crosstrek body for my Stampede...

I've had Mercury Grand Marquis for the past 14 years. Have had a 1989, 1998, 2006 and 2007.

Don't have a photo of the 89, was burgundy with a carriage top, like this:

    My '98

    My '06 white '07 grey

My wife gets my last car because she doesn't drive much at all (1K a year) whereas I was driving ~25K a year and liked being comfortable for my commute. She has the 07 MGM now. Then they quite making it... I was devastated. Then my company moved 20 minutes closer and instilled a work from home policy. Now I drive 2/3's as far and 3/5's as much, so I went with something a little more flashy.

    Current car, Chrysler 300C:

Still comfortable, for ride quality, the 89 MGM was so smooth, but terrifying in the corners. The 98 was the best of the 4. The "rough" ride in the Chrysler is forgiven when I mash that gas pedal though.
They aren't cable ties. They're coated wire, and they're 100% factory. They do no damage.

    Cool 2006 Mazda 6 Wagon

I used this to carry DJ equipment, the 2 15" subs in my car i DJ'd with and they are still hooked up to 600 watt mono Alpine amp which gives me nice back massage!
Had to modify exhaust (old pic first, next pic newer) as it came to a "T" instead of a "Y", made it .25" bigger and now it goes!. K&N cold air intake made shorter with custom heat shield and water deflector in front of wheel stays on during winter (just add K&N waterproof sleeve over filter-last pic). Converted headlights to HiD. Bigger AGM battery wrapped in insulation. Accel hi power ignition coils. Front lowered 1.5". Tinted Windows. Pics from Twitter:

Sounds like a very loud back massage I don't know a lot about real cars, but it looks like a good set up!

Here's a pic of what I mostly drive, from the inside. 13,000 miles give or take every month coast to coast. I bring 4-6 RCs with me generally and get to run in about every cool environment there is.

I bought it about 3 years ago played around with it for about a week and a rod bearing seized up making it a useless swing set. I got a great idea of instead of putting another 1600cc 43hp VW engine back in it that a 130hp 2.2l engine from a 1995 subaru legacy would be much cooler. Added more tubes to the roll cage, fuel cell, and a reverse lock out shifter. Right now I'm working on making it road legal to be my daily driver to work. Making my own engine and chassis harness right now. I can't wait to finally hear it run.

Nice looking ride! I hope it treats you well. We had a 09 G6 GXP. It was great looking and a blast to drive. Unfortunately it was the biggest POJ I've ever owned in my life(I'm in my 50s and have worked in the auto industry my whole life) Leaks, squeaks and stuff that plain old quit working. Key fobs(lost count)door lock actuators(multiple)terminal fretting at the BCM causing weird issues, etc, etc, etc. I keep most cars for at least 10 yrs. I dropped that one after 4. It went away when it dropped out of warranty and the timing chain started rattling on start-up. I really hope yours is better. They're neat cars for sure. Good luck!

Thanks! That's too bad yours wasn't working for you. I love mine so far, not terrible gas mileage and not bad power output for a V6.
