    4s Lipo Question...

I'm about to pull the trigger and go for a SPC 4s Lipo but I can't decide between 2 options:

    - SPC 5000mah 4s lipo, 50c for about $52
    - SPC 6500mah 4s lipo, 65c for about $72

Are the extra mahs and cs worth the extra $20? I really don't have much experience buying lipos and did a bit of research but didn't find a clear answer... so any input will be appreciated...

Depends on what you are going to do. If your driving around a half hour. Think 5000mah should be fine. If you wanna have longer runtime, i go for the 6500mAh, gives you 30% more drivetime. The Amps that the Lipo's give, should both be enough for your car. Don't think that will really matter.

Should be all good. If you want longer run time, and keep cost a bit lower, you can try to look for a 35C or 40C 6000+mAh.
Keeping the battery at about 200Ah continuous. Just do the math. 65c/6500mah seems overkill.

I took the advise and decided to save myself $20... I went for the SPC 4s 5000mah lipo and used that extra money to upgrade the stock traxxas charger...

Per capacity the 6500 is cheaper and more powerful. When budget is tight and you want a better charger, you made a logical choice.

Holy smokes I could only imagine how that thing would be with that kind of power.

4s is sick on a stampede 4x4. Ran it a couple of times with my 2400kv. Just insane. Now I am running 3s only. Still so much power and really challenging to control

Do you have to upstage the diffs or anything when using this setup

A very nice charger. My friend has one and it seems to charge my packs better and faster. I'm getting the hitec X2 ac.
    Bashes well with others
