One heck of a build thread. Really shows the evolution of a P4de from stock form all the way to a 90+ mph rocket that can bash all day. You gotta be proud of that.

That's normal, it's toes in like that too help track straight, but a lot of ppl don't like that much toe in. I swapped mine as well to 1.5 degrees. The stock plastic ones are 2.5 degrees I believe.

So haven't updated this thread lately so here's a update for this thread. Recently hit 100mph with the ol general so here it is in street form.
Also installed a traxxas aluminum shock tower for the front as well.

I like the custom weights up front. Very stylish lol. For real though your Pede is one sweet rc truck! Did you ever try different spots for weights. The way it sits now looks like they maybe counterproductive. The air hitting at that angle pushes up on front. If you could get them on front shock tower somehow kill two birds with one stone. Take away drag effect of wind pushing up on it and maybe be able to reduce weight a little so truck is lighter. Just thoughts here.
Just need one more rc, then Ill be done...

It's actually not that bad, the 100k rear diff fluid helped out a lot in keeping it straight.

Yea the weights are ugly lol, but they help keep the front down when in bumpy roads. I have ran without them but I lost 1mph top speed. If I was too turn it into a speedrunner I would run different bumpers and a body, but since I only wanted too hit 100mph I'm good now lol. Once I get video proof and test the 2200kv in this gearing I'll be done with my speedruns and will be going back too off-road setup.

Took less than 30min and I'm back ready for off-roading again.
After much debate I've decided too retire the orange body as it's pretty wore out now lol. Will be running the black body from now on, my new body should be ready soon.

So played with the ol p4de other day for the first time in a couple weeks and steering servo went out( guess it was mad at me for not playing with it for so long lol). So figured I would try a different servo, ended up getting a spektrum that my lhs had. Very good servo and its black so matches my chassis better than the blue one.
Also here is my mount I made too use the stock stampede box between motor and servo since I'm using it now instead of the lcg slash box.

You don't need the duo for data logging, castle link will work just fine. I disabled my data logging I don't use it, and I posted some pics for you on my other thread.

Dang it man, that stinks! Thanks that reminds me to check mine. I'm using the two set screws but just recently got the pins. I may switch them over.

Have you had any problems with getting the drive off output shaft? Last diff service I did, almost like output shaft was mushroomed but it wasn't so it must be something inside drive.

I haven't snapped any driveshafts since I installed my mips, this is the first time I've had any trouble out of them, I can make another pin pretty easy. Expanding sleeve that I bought I had too choose my size and what length that I wanted.

the places I found on ebay were from china, United Kingdom, or Hong Kong. I don't trust ordering from any of those places. Thanks man I just placed my order and it said estimated delivery February 27. How accurate were they when your order was made? how long did your order take? I apologize if I'm becoming annoying. I'm addicted and its were and what I spend all my free time.
