    Tekno Big Bone Question

Do they make noise? I'm trying to track down a noise and I've noticed it after changing the driveshaft from the stok one. What type of noise does it make if any?

Hum, they used to come with 4 0 rings.
The big bone can make a bit more noise then the stock unit but it shouldn't be huge.

In an article I read, the author said he heard a noise and it was coming from the big bone drive shaft. He quieted it down with some o rings and said it worked perfect after that.

I think even the catalog picture shows two. There is some play and that was my first though, adding some more o rings

No you want some play, it has to be there so the chassis can flex.
You have a shaft with a pin thru it slapping back and fourth between the front and rear shaft carriers.
Some noise is to be expected.
All the pics I see still have four.

where do those o rings go? bought my slash used with the tekno. my solution was cutting some soft tubing inside the adapter thingy, stops the bar rattling around.

o-rings goes inside the drive cups/hub 2 on each side. also another noise coming from is the front drive cup rubbing the chassis.

I pulled it apart and yea I do have four o rings. I like some of the other ideas here and I need to check and see if its rubbing.

Yeah I forgot about the chassis Pedro Penduko. If you take the front apart you'll notice the tekno drive cup is rubbing the chassis. You can use a dremel or just left the drive put a wear mark in it. I tried the second one and it took forever for it to wear out so I dremeled it
