    What are the advantages of running either of these two servos compared to using two stock servos? My goal is to not have to replace servo gears all of the time.

    They are both metal gear, vs the stock servos plastic gears. All two stock servos gives you is two plastic drivetrains to break...

    Having had the bluebird and now the savox, I can say the savox is much better. Quieter and waterproof.

    The issue people have with Reviving old threads is when someone replies to a 5 year old thread with something like "hey, what body/wheels/etc is that?", Asking a question to somebody that replied years ago.

    If, like in this case, they are adding something relevant to the thread, that's fine as these things stay around for years to come and there's no point in making a new thread just add your experience so you don't revive an old thread.....

    The particular reply you are necro-thread shaming adds to the value of the thread, Imo, though the one after it doesn't. At. All...
