Its to late tonight but I'm going to see how the new drive shaft does at higher speeds tomorrow.
Not looking to go 100mph or any real speed at all, probably more stand testing then anything.
I think I'm going to buy another chassis and try dying it darker.

Please keep us informed on how the aluminum bulkheads do. I have seen them for awhile now but I have been on the fence about it. I like my RPM front bulkhead but aluminum for the rear might be plausible.

I'm sure its stronger but I got it more for bling to be honest.
I'll be happy to keep you up to date on things good sir.
You have helped me so much over the years its the least I can do.
In truth I'm more interested to see how the HR drive shaft does, its a much tighter fit for sure, dont get me wrong it moves freely but it's heavy, definitely solid unlike the hollow big bone.
    Wow, looking good Billy!
    Thank you my friend, I'm a 2wd man but I love my 4wd PF8.

So your rear bulkhead finally came in that's awesome. I'd like to know how that he shaft works also. I had to take out the big bone and went back to the stock one. Big bone was doing a skip rope after a certain speed

    Looking good,
I would like to build another truck with aluminum but after what a good bashing scratches look like on my fully built FLM 2wd pede, I said no more....the scratches just makes it look too sad, I would be one and maybe leave it as a shelf queen...

I'm wondering about the shaft as well, its a much snugger fit then the big bone and its solid as well.
To tell you the truth I really like it, I spun it up on the stand a bit ago and it seemed to be very well balanced but that was with out a load.
With the gearing and 4s I used I'm sure it spun up to 100mph for sure, again the no load comes into the equation again.

Hey billy-bones, looks like you and I are really into HR....

As I mentioned b4, I will probably not get aluminum parts but definetely will see your out come...

I am finally thinking of that lcg slash that I told Mattz175 that I will never get...Oh well if all turns well I may have a roller in about two weeks and build her up......this time instead of MIP, I may go FLm again or fully teckno, so that I can appreciate that one too and may be that HR you got there...hihi

Well I just did a 6s stand test and I'm not sure what to think.
I never really sat and looked at any of the shafts spin without the weight of the car on them but heres what happened.
First the HR shaft at extremely high speeds spins true, impressively true in fact.
Now the down side, under hard throttle pulls the shaft wobbled a bit, as soon as it reached speed it smoothed right out, probably why the XO-1 has a center balancing bearing.
I'm going to put my 4s in the MT with a tekno Big Bone and watch and see if it does the same.
We are asking a lot more out of these things then they were designed for.

Right now I can say just as every thing else HR its a great product, it may have wobbled under power but spun true on 6s sitting on a stand, the shaft was spinning at a rate greater then 100mph.
That said a center brace/bearing will be the next mod.

Ok gentlemen, I have to say the big bone never flinched.
As much as I love HR and for the average 3s fella no worries.
For serious power the big bone wins hands down.

Been playing with some shelf queen lighting and the rig a bit.

Once I finally order the XO-1 part for the bottom it will stop the light from showing under the car, I dont like that.
This was just one three light piece off a strip stuck to the top. literally .25 cents worth of LED's.
