    Shock upgrade

Bent a rear shock shaft yesterday and Im looking to upgrade shocks. Ive looked at Traxxas big bores and a set from Atomik RC. Any suggestions?

Also, what is the stock shock oil weight? Should I run a different weight?

im not fimilar with the brand. china knock offs can be a real large problem. just because its "pretty" doesnt make it a good product. hotracing has been around along time and they make some of the best products out there.

have a look at the traxxas GTR too, lots of people preffer them over the big bores on the slash 4x4 and 2wd forum.

I have the big bore but have not tried them yet, with the gtr, you can also use the variable dampening kit of the erevo/revo which improves a lot the performance of the shocks.

Went with the ones from Atomik RC. $30 for four, we'll see how long they last.
