Been holding up just fine, I've broken a couple parts from crashes but as far as the driveline goes its holding up well. I did mess up a front/rear diff ring but that was from self righting it.

Off road setup is 2.8 swampers on 3.2 revolvers geared 18/52. Geared 25/50 right now with 1/8 buggy tires on road only. My 4s battery's are venom 5000mah 35c and a crc 5300mah 40c.

So done with speed running tonight. Did pretty good no broke parts. First run on 3s netted 67mph tonight, I hit 70mph Friday night, but that was with a 3s fresh off the charger. 3s I used tonight I charged a few hours earlier. Very first run I did on 4s netted 78mph, didn't get that on video because I wanted too see how it was gonna run with the weights on it on 4s before I started videoing it and I ended up flipping over on that run and lost all my weights, so after that it did what it was doing Friday night, which was lifting the front end up. So on video the best I could do was 74, but I did hit 78moh just don't have video proof. I turned my timing up too see if I could get a couple more mph out of it, but on the first run with timing up I heard a squeaking sound so I shut it down think I have a bad bearing somewhere so that ended my night for me.
    3s lipo 67mph
    4s lipo 74mph
Speed running has taken its toll on this orange body.

Here's a pic of my chassis too fit the 2650kv

Turns out the squeaking noise was a rock that got stuck in the driveshaft tunnel, so no bad bearings.

Right now it's cold in my area, so normal temps are 140-155. When summertime hits I will gear down too 16 or 17t pinion.

Yea more volts=more heat. I was trying to find a good gear that would be great on 3/4s without heat issues. 18/52 was a good gear, if running strictly 3s you can gear a couple teeth up without issue or if your running smaller tires than what I run. After running 4s I don't even hardly run 3s anymore.

Well that's good! I took my shaft cover off cause that would happen to me and got tired of taking it off and putting it on. Now I just flip over and tap and rock falls out. I run it around beach at local lake that's more rockish than sand and they would find their way in there in front where shaft comes out to diff.

I tried running it without a cover, but almost every time I ran it a rock would get stuck under the slipper nut. So I always run one now, my tbone servo guard keeps a lot of the debris from getting in the front, this is the first time in a long time that I've had a rock get stuck in there.

I'll have to look in to the tbone servo guard. I don't like running without the cover on shaft. I have wiring for led lights that I worry about when I don't have that body on it! I try to secure the two wires but they come loose from time to time....

I love my T-Bone Racing servo guard on my P4de. After some fierce rock bouncing there are some lovely gashes on it. (Yes an independent suspension can dish it out.) The servo guard is well worth the money and great at protecting against dirt, jagged rocks and evil tree roots.

A P4de with a Sl4sh chassis is just a Sl4sh with different (big) tires, (narrow) shell and (little) bumpers!

gotcha. well can you tell me if you have one or two connectors coming off of the esc to the receiver?? does your esc have one with three wires coming out and then another with two wires coming out? and then of course the fan wire.

I have a port for the esc fan which is in the esc, then I have one connector too connect the esc too the receiver, those wires are orange, red, and brown. Then I have the aux wire which is a white one, I don't use it so I just have it sitting in the receiver box

The duo has the aux and fan connections, I believe its made for setups like yours. If you don't use those extra wires then you might be able to get away with just purchasing the quick connect. I thought they were same price tho... Just have to contact cust support over there and ask....

It stand for calandra racing concepts. I haven't had a problem with them, have over 20 cycles through it and balances perfect every time. Their a little pricey, the crc and venom is all my lhs had in stock and I'm impatient and didn't wana wait on ordering one is why I went with this brand. If I buy another battery I will go with a smc or spc. Not knocking the quality of the crc, I just can get smc or spc for cheaper.
