    Platinum - style X-Maxx?

Any chance there will be a version with no radio and an unpainted body?

Not likely, as it was only done for the slash due to it being a racing vehicle.

I want to get a blank X-MAXX body to paint a custom paint job.

Blank bodies will be available eventually (maybe right out of the gate), but i don't see a platinum edition any time soon on this guy.

That's my thought as well if they haven't done it for any other truck doubt this will be the exception.

Shame as there's lots of plastic parts that could do with that FLM touch.

I agree with others. I think Traxxas realized how to make money easier. They probably learned with the XO-1 that people didn't care for the batteries so they made them without batteries. Also notice that they have graphics on the body from the start unlike the XO-1. I think their marketing and manufacturing teams are getting this "X" model right the first time. Hopefully they will make upgrades for it because they didn't really do it for the XO-1.

What I would like to see is a GoPro camera mount that mounts to chassis like they had for the Slashes. This truck is big enough to carry a GoPro with ease.
