    Platinum Slash 4x4

Just realized I don't have a thread here.

My Platinum Slash 4x4 earlier this year.

    Smoked body.

RPM mudflaps with the stock bumper (not a big fan of the rpm one).

Allowed MY dog to chase the truck, he only attacks the body so its all good.

    Wanted more power,

    Extra chassis to dye.

    Ram Body

MIP axles and rpm arms all installed all around.

This made me decide to make this into a street slash

And just dyed the extra chassis

Looks good. What were the reasons you went with the sidewinder 8th? I'm thinking of going that motor or the funny car motor.

    Thank you fellas.

No reason for getting the sv8 other than the price was right.

Since the rear passenger windows have "PL" stickers, I'm going to guess ProLine:

So I finally took the slash out for a test run, I had to stiffen the shocks and springs since it was making the chassis scrape, also cannot figure out what is making the truck lag when I give it throttle. Thought it was the slipper but don't know... so I upgraded to the MM2 and the 2200KV can with fins and throwing the sv8 into the 2wd slash.

Cool progression of your slash! Can't wait to get mine.

Question did you have run in issues when you installed your MIPs?

What voltage are you runing? Is it 2 3s in series 22volt. If you are running two 3s how do you mount the batteries?

Yea I was wondering what is input voltage is to the esc is. I run a 4s some the funnycar motor some. Seems some of these really fast ones may go above 4s.

    Thanks fellas!!

I want to say the expandable sleeve is a 1/8" size.

I do run the batteries in series, yes we are talking about 6s.

Pics of the batteries in car and this works on my hpi truck running 8s as well.

    Yes running Steel HR spur.

I have not used the bronco body YET. lol. Might leave that for my 2wd slash since I put the sidewinder 8 in that and using a 6s

    Well...

I'll need a longer straightaway for 6s. Racing around the curve on my culdesac street is challenging enough w/4s.
