    Converting to Titan 12t notes

I am converting a Blast to a 12T motor. I will not be taking photos, Others have already done this.

Started conversion and I have a few notes.
    1. The 12t motor is just like replacing a motor with 2 exceptions:
A The shaft on the 12t is slightly longer than on the Stinger. The coupling will fit but you have to put it in with the motor slightly loose or you can cut a little of the end of the shaft.
B The 12t is slightly longer so If you intend to use the normal battery you have to modify the battery tray and the boat where the battery slides in.
I have not got that far yet but I intend to use a 2200 2s lipo that is smaller than the normal battery.
All in all much easier than i thought. Don

got it done today. Now I need nice weather.(spring!) The only thing different from changing a motor is moving the battery tray and possibly shortening the motor shaft a little. Don

It drops right in and a great improvement over stock, especially on 7-cell or 2s.
