I got super excited when I read center diff steel main gear, then I realized there just talkin about the main spur gear

The aluminum servo saver rack sounds nice, hopefully it's adjustable, the stock servo saver is way to soft

This is pasted from the x-maxx Facebook group: All xmaxx owners. If you break ANY plastic parts on your new maxx, rpm wants you to email them pictures. They need to see what and where parts are breaking. The more that email them the quicker we can get rpm upgrades! Bash hard brothers!

This is my last message from rpm fb page

We'd love to see the photos. Please e-mail them to us at Talk2us@rpmrcproducts.com and our product development department will check them out. Thank you for your help!

    My dream XMAXX Would be
billet or real machined steel gears
RPM arms all the way around
    RPM bumpers
    RPM or aluminum hubs
    Hardend shock shafts
Aluminum steering rack with adjustable servo saver
After market metal gear steering servo
    Real waterproof ball bearings

need the aftermarket to drift away from the normal boring blue and come out with different colors like dhawkracing. I'm going with the blacked out colorway and need to get rid of this blue on my X-Maxx. I feel traxxas should have came out with a black out version of the X-maxx. that would have been cool.

Anyway (in my opinion), something isn't adding up with why the XO-1 doesn't have the after market support as other vehicles. Oh well, just a little food for thought. And hopefully, it won't happen to the Xmaxx.

Like the 1:1 rigs, some models are very lucrative.

I would think Traxxas still makes the X0 cause it just might be a money maker for them even with low sales.

If someone was completely new to RC & looked at both the X0 & X without their lids on, I bet that person would think the X costs a lot more simply since there's more of it besides the fact they cost about the same.

I'm sure all the rigs Traxxas produces have some sort of bottom line. This model costs X amount to build & we sell it for whatever. Since they've kept the X0 around, I'm guessing it's a high profit model?

I can't really get what the effect is of these wheel extenders.... Does it push the wheels further away from the truck for a wider stance or something?

Second look, seems it extends to 'grab' stock wheels for additional support?

    Anyone see or try these?

Looks like way to add offset which should = more stability.

I think you also have to look a the fact with the XO-1 a lot of the parts are slash cross overs. So no sense redesigning stuff when the slash parts work. The market has truck loads of slash stuff. You will see stuff coming out for the xmaxx pretty steady I think. But I also think it will have its limitations. I would like to see some wheel nuts to run 5th scale paddles in the snow.

yeah, i would like to try out one of their spur gears but can't figure that out either. I'm surprised nobody ever made a steel spur for the XO-1.

How about silver or just polished? That would look great polished suspension & wheels? They sure could use heavier sway bars as the wheels & tires get wider. JMHO

steel containing chromium that makes it resistant to corrosion, a type of alloy like stainless, not sure why they would make a gear out of it but the stuff is pretty hard, hey could of Ment chromoly steel, hard to say

This is a good find, now all we need is a adjustable servo saver so the truck will make a complete turn in less then a football field and a metal gear servo

is it better than hardened steel that most metal pinions and spurs are made out of?
