Added a stainless steel skid plate. Broke the rear pinion so I replaced them with the 8S ring and pinion front and rear. Added a cooling fan. Destroyed my driveway a little more lol

I only bought my X-Maxx a couple of weeks ago, since then i managed to break the rear hub carriers after some light bashing.
Replaced rear hub carriers with RPM carriers

    Also bought a Telemetry Expander
    Temp sensors
    Voltage sensors

Installed a Hot Racing Dust Cover too

I over heated my esc... should I get a different one or the original 8s esc it came with? My sec fan was struggling and some of the esc programming was already messed up.

Disassembled front and rear diffs, thoroughly cleaned and inspected, assembled with new diff oil. 30k front, 50k rear.

Suspension felt seriously soft from factory and I notices that both my front shocks were leaking oil. Disassembled all shocks and installed a rebuild kit for the fronts after thorough cleaning and reassembled with 40w. Rear was just drained and filled with 50w.
Installed 1.450 rate springs on the front and 1.5xx rate springs on the back. This seems very stiff now; a lot stiffer than I expected, but suspension action is now ultra smooth.

Installed 4 shock covers from full force rc.

Replaced all lower shock mount pin set screws as rocks have chewed them up beyond being able to get an allen on them. Investigating some sort of protection for all 4 arms.

    Testing forthcoming.

You'll be happy. I have the 1.45s all around. Handles much better and doesn't act stiff. It's a heavy truck.

I upgraded my shock caps to the Pro-Line Piggyback canisters, changed oil to 40w rear and 35w front.
Also fitted T-Bone rear suspension arm protectors. Looking tough!!
Next items to fit are Traxxas GPS Module (can't find any, out of stock)
Also some kind of LED lighting kit.

I want a set of those Pro-Line Piggyback caps but the price stops me plus I can not find any info on what people think of them.

Yesterday I ran my buddy and my super secret track we built and I got to test out my new suspension setup. (40wt FR, 50wt RR plus 1.45 springs FR, 1.5x RR)

    I was thoroughly impressed.

Moreso, the battles my bud and I had were epic! In the end, he "broke" so I won, but I took my own battle wounds...managed to pull 6 of 8 body screws through, now fixed.

I really need to get a gopro and some sort of mount. One day, one day...

Got my Losi 1/5 monster tuck tires and wheels for my Black Snap-on X-maxx. Spent several hours dying the wheels black and mounting them up.

Still need to do some clearance trimming to clear the steering knuckles but I got them on there looking good enough for a quick photo shoot last night.

I would love to post pic's I am not seeing an upload button. Let me know if I am missing something here.

I would go over the entire vehicle. Check all grub screws, wheel screws and also expoís for throttle/steering. Not a bad idea to give the entire truck a good once over before you run it. JMHOís. Good day.

I took my xmaxx out for the first time all I can say is Wow....... what a Blast my first impression This thing is pretty tough it bounced off that tree I ran into and kept on going my batteries lasted about a hour of abuse then the power cuts down to 50% I enjoyed every min now it's time to clean it because I ran it on fresh cut wet grass.
