Considering you have that beast of a powerplant in your X-maxx....it still won't break a sweat with the extra weight. looking good!

Well i most have a different receiver because my max 6 bec is set to deliver 7.4 volts, been running like this for over 5 months everything is still working like it should.

Anyone know how big the fan is on the leapord BL5? I was doing a test run for a homemade camera mount. But some rocks and dirt is clogged the inside of the fan and I can't work it out.

Assembled the MTXL wheels ready to mount.
There are yet more adjustments as the 'wheel lockers' are too tight.

Need a quiet moment when the family's out - no over-inquisitive youngsters I'll need to concentrate on instead of the job-in -hand'.

Should be done tomorrow AM ... if done, I'll post some photos.

Foams trimmed - lightened a little (25 g / wheel approx.), trimmed the splines inside the fronts, remounted the tyres and ...

Jumped that little wall and made the toddler laugh!!

Now to 'spare' some money to get the shell painted professionally and its finished - no guesses on colour scheme / style obviously!!

Those tires should hold up without ballooning too much. I'm running those on my 12s losi xl.

Shocks you can get from Traxxas. Everything else you can get from Ebay except the ESC tray. That one is custom.

Taped off 8 stock tires. Once the tires are gone I'll try something else. Also installed v4 T-bone wheelie bar and HR aluminum diff cups and another brand cups.

Fitted a pair of 4S batteries.
Need to make a set of cables without balance leads for normal operation - cannot plug in the balance leads and close the covers - AND, had to remove the foam cushions and shorten the front.

That this will move the (long) battery forwards is a good thing to limit wheelying - a little!!

I've got a fancy 'bathroom scales' and a suitcase one - latter would be better but couldn't find it.

Battling with the bathroom scales I've got 12.7 kg or ~28 lb.

From China, unless a major Hobby Store they will take a while - normally 2 - 4 weeks, sometimes more.
I've only had perhaps 1 failed delivery - nothing of major significance as I forget what it was!

They are also normally cheaper than can be located elsewhere - USA is a bit of an exception being such a big market, you can play the 'competition card', which we don't see here in UK that much.

If its only one week, I wouldn't be worried.
Start looking if there's nothing after 3 weeks.

They're just brief runs in the back garden.

    1 is running 6S - 2x 65-130C 5Ah 3S LiPo batteries.
    The other is running 8S - 2x 90C 5Ah 4S LiPo batteries.

I might try and terrorise the local park this weekend if the weather holds off!!

Body is still clear - I'm discussing the paint scheme with the person who'll be painting it.

It won't be a 'shelfer', but I won't be running it like most do!!
