Looks sweet, been waiting to see how it was gonna turn out. And dhawk had some green parts for u on eBay now.![]()
Nice job Wolf! And great color choice
XMAXX (Red), Tmaxx 2.5 (converting to electric)
I made it for my show body, since the stock shell is pretty beat up. I love the green so much, so I want to use it now lol... It's the perfect shade of green, it looks looks great in the sun, it's a perfect lime metallic green.
If anyone knows what Synergy green looks like on a newer Camaro, it's that exact color, just a tiny bit darker.
This is what it looks like in the sun, it just doesn't photograph well.

I found out the bumper mounts don't like the cold weather. Front and rear are shattered. Also my truck was far from waterproof. The receiver kept blinking green and red no matter what I did. Opened the box up and it was completely full of water. I was surprised that after I pulled the receiver out and took it apart to clean with electrical contact cleaner that it actually still works!
Installed some fans. Castle 2028 dual fan + 2 esc fans

I'm running a Robinson racing mod 1 16 tooth pinion and the width of the gear has not cause any issues as of yet

Definitely super easy to a change pinions so far it seems pretty easy to work on all together
the one thing I like about snow bashing them is if the esc goes up in flames you have plenty of snow to put it out.
I'm changing out the diff fluid from the stock 30,000 in the rear and 50,000 in the front to 100,000 in front and rear. I can't believe how much stiffer and locked feeling it is.
I'm the same with everyone else, I found my diffs only half filled with oil.![]()

Ran another two full sets through my Beast. The 100K diff oil is great, it feels so much more planted on road and in the snow it just plows through it all.
On a side note, I defiantly know what parts need to be upgraded. I broke the other rear shock cap loop, just like how the first one broke. I can't tell if it has any air bubbles in it like the last time, but regardless it sucks that another one broke.
I also broke the inner front bumper loop, and I pulled the right front screw out of the bumper mount for the third time. Since I've been through 3 of them, it's a weak spot that needs a good upgrade.

I'm not gonna lie I hated this thing at first but it's been given me about a million smiles per gallon here lately!
I can't rightfully complain either. For all the air some guys are getting and the awesome tech support so far makes it hard to say anything bad about this truck. Smile on my face is hard to wipe off every time i take it out. Then when the batteries are wore out. Pop a spare set in the HPI Savage and the smile comes right back. No regrets in this purchase whatsoever.
XMAXX EREVO SAVAGE Digging Ditches
I bought 2 sets of rear proline trenchers for baja5t 7.65/3.20. I also got Losi 5t foams and 2 sets of rear proline split six beadlocks and for baja 5t. You have to use a washer on the outside of the wheel with a inner diameter hole of 17mm so they can be mounted. They look and perform great. I always like having a lot of wheel options for all of my cars. I also have the set from Kershaw.
I don't have a photo bucket so I can't post any pics. Sorry.
Still waiting for pre order since nov 2nd but today.... I Picked up a full set of shocks for good price on eBay, and rebuilt them with 50wt. Now when I want to experiment with different shock oil I can just swap shocks out.
It was pretty fun, the how to videos helped, thanks guys!

Crushed my brothers bandit 😁
Mannnn is love to see this, can you email them to me and I'll post em for you yoshgixxer@hotmail.com
I was seriously debating Baja 5B rears all the way around with badlands, I think the Baja rear wheel is wider then a 5T front but I'm unsure
Yoshgixxer, I will send them later today. The baja rear is wider then the 5t.
Wolfslash what brand oil did you use in the diffs
Marley510's XMAXX sittin on some 5ive wheels.. He said it turns a whole lot better and i believe him, those big monster truck wheels are a strain on the servo saver and everything else attached to them, I bet you would break less parts especially axle and pins with these lighter small diameter tires. Even looks more racey to me!

Today I uploaded a few photos of my Spartans and put both up for safe - will be difficult, but attempting to part with them both to make room for when the X-MAXX gets in.
Well she took a beating today the screws were starting to pull through and there was a big rip on the back left side so I cut it off and gooed theout of it. Then put it back together and added another layer of goo in all the crevices. I hope this stops the body breaking. Need some sort of wheelie bar or something to put on the bumper to keep the back from catching when I get trigger happy...
