Oh man today was terrible. What a horrible experience.
I don't wish this on anybody!!!!
People. I was freaking out so bad! I had NO IDEA but mud was more than 2-3 inches deep let alone SEVERAL FEET!
Thought I was going to die trying to retrieve my truck. I've never been in mud before. I was hyper ventilating, had adrenaline beyond anything I've ever experienced and worst of all... It was 40 degrees outside. The Mud was FREEZING COLD.
make fun of me all you want, I'm over it now.

Oh man, and thats not something you want to leave there either! Why is the other one 2wd?
That's a bit of a situation for sure!
xmaxx, Tmaxx x2, Emaxx, slash 4wd x2, slash 2wd.
Wow. That's not mud. That's textbook quicksand! It looks solid on top, but the soil is liquefied. That's genuinely scary, I would have reacted the same way as you. Cool video!
Manager at LHS ~7 Years. I've seen some stuff lol
Dude you have no idea how miserably the entire ordeal was. The truck was OVER 40 pounds and I stripped the spur gear entirely.
Lol.
I had to walk the truck over 1/2 a mile. My entire body hurts.
We used the other Xmaxx to push this Xmaxx for half that distance.
Had to go to a car was to rinse myself off, made a HUGE mess.
Oh man I would have EASILY paid $100 cash to avoid the entire situation. I swear.
Never doing that again.
wow that is a nightmare. you should be happy to come out there alive. such situations can get very dangerous quickly.

Don't feel bad, Xmaxx. When I was a teenager my little brother and I experienced the same thing. We were riding our dirt bikes in unknown territory after dark when all of the sudden I went off of a slate dump, and into a sulfur creek. My RM250 submerged totally into the mud, and all I could see was little bubbles from my exhaust. It took my little brother and I hours to find enough wood to lay down on top of the mud, in an effort to pull my bike out, and get it back to solid land. Needless to say, Xmaxx...I feel your pain. (lol) Glad you got your truck back!
Life's to short to be a sour puss.
oh man, that's rough. at least every one is okay, you have a great story, and the best part is you have it on film LOL
Dude, that is awesome in a weird kind of way. Hope she cleans up good and not to much wrong. Bad time but good bench racing story.
Did you lose your shoes in the mud? That would be scary. Go Xmaxx!
Just watched the video and it looks like the boots get ducked off when he first tried to go out to get it!!
oh yeah, I just found it on YT. I found the language to be on par with his situation but not suitable for everybody. Xmaxx rocks!
I didnt know it was time for Halloween again. Cause it looks like the X-Maxx could pass as a mud monster.
Just kidding that really is a bummer.
Just because its there doesn't mean its for sale.
