    aftermarket gimbal and the aton

So I just got my aton and I love it. I have put my sj4000 on it and the included camera mount works very well. Not nearly as shaky as I thought it would be I'm sure the stability control in film mode has a lot to do with this

I went to Hobby people yesterday and was looking for some more ID batteries. They don'thave any but they did hAve a 2 axis brushless gimbal for 79.99.

I know nothing about these quads or any others for that matter but just looking at it, it looked like I could mount it to my camera mount. The plug also looked similar.

are the "bolt" patterns or whatever you want to call it universal? It so I think it would fit

    maybe other cheaper brands too?

    Here's the hobby people one

The Traxxas gimbal just clips on to the landing gear. I don't think there is anyway you would be able to mount that gimbal to the landing gear or the air frame. They are universal for most quad copters but Traxxas' stuff is a bit more proprietary.

I thought maybe using the mount from the included mount and putting the grommets into this one.

I might go down there and see if it will work out. I'll let you know

if it doesn't I'll order the traxxas one
