    No problem.
Hers is new. Sweet. When you have time please post a pic of your rigs here. I would like to check them out. When you mentioned rusty earlier a thought crossed my mind. It was to build a 4x4 pede. Then I told myself don't do it. Maybe later.

My next plan is to paint the upper chassis and gear cover the same color blue as the aluminum bits on her. The shock caps and bumper are gunmetal

Yeah, the pink has maybe 1 hr on it. I actually need to install the front A arm brace and bearings to make it a real vxl...Lol
I had thought of buying a new lower chassis for mine just to rid myself of all the scratches on it. I will change the gear housing for sure, it has a few deeep scratches. (When i find one..Lol)
Idk how ppl have "dyed" their chassis.

I have never had the need to dye parts. I have watched a couple of vids on dying though. Now time to take the X-maxxes out to play.

    Magnosis,

Thanks man. This one is just as sweet as the first one. We did about a 30 minute run and it did great. I gave it a little test run myself and it put a smile on my face. She was happy with the color on body. Her eyes just lit up. I am happy with the build it is smooth all around.

    Building X-MAXX From Ground Up!

Thanks fellas for the posts. I could have went a different route and upgraded motor and esc on truck #1. It's just i am more of a quantity kind of guy. Glad a few of you out there have enjoyed this build. I kept it basic as you can see.

I brought my daughter's X-MAXX with me one day and the temp was about 80 degrees out. She is going to need a 2028 fan. I plan to get it next week.

Same here no temp gun. Did a few fast passes and would check motor then repeat till motor is hot. This I did at home where my temp gun was. Temp then was 153 with about the same temp outside. 80 degees give or take a couple. ESC 92 degrees I think this was a few days back.

I need to get me some sort of temp gun. H.F. may be my near future...Lol
    Love that store...
I never even thought to check the esc temp if the motor was that hot a month ago(approx.) Wasn't even spring yet..Lol
I like the speeds, of course no idea what they are but she seems pretty fast. 1/2 throttle to W.O. still brings the wheels up, I'd hate to change gears and lose some speed over temp...Lol
Of course on my Spektrum, I have no clue as to hook up a fan unless i splice into radio wire or something.

If you get the 2028 fan it will plug into receiver just like you would connect your steering servo. You have plugged your esc and your steering servo into your receiver, but how many slots do you have open now?

My youngest daughter needed an upgrade from the old E-maxx. I do think it is a pretty cool truck though.
