    something i dislike

    is the battery door.... i hate that thing. since my crash it seems like its going to break off any minute.


    anyone make an aftermarket one yet

    No aftermarket parts quite yet besides prop adapters that I have seen. It did just come out, and a replacement battery tray is not that expensive.

    Is it looking like it is deteriorating? What would be better, maybe a hinge/pin type?

    I had a brushless revo for years, same kind of setup for the battery door.. Never failed. Have faith
    Traxxas please sell kits!

    Seems after awhile from opening/closing the door will come off. There is a part to order if it does. Been looking at different options to secure it if it does break off. Until then, fly fly fly. Got some stick time in today. Can't wait until spring.

    Yea mine is just about to break. I've glued it 2 times and it now has duct tape, yes that's right duct tape....
