    Faster in reverse?

I just took my truck out for it's maiden voyage and it seems like something is reversed. The truck goes almost twice as fast in reverse. How do I fix this?

Try recalibrating your transmitter or call traxxas. Most likely calibration is the problem

Did you unplug the temperature sensor? I seem to remember in another thread here someone from Traxxas said the stock receiver will limit forward throttle to 50% if the sensor is unplugged.

I swapped two of the motor leads and reprogrammed the radio.....all good now. Yes, I removed the temp sensor.

Do you mind if I ask why you disconnected the temp sensor? That's there to protect the motor from overheating.

Also do your brakes work normally now? You're running the esc in reverse for forward now. Some ESC's brakes work differently in reverse than they do in forward.

The receiver requires the Temp sensor, as a few of us have now learned the hard way (me included). Without it connected, your receiver thinks the motor is over heating.
