    Conversion and new motor

Well I converted my ultimate slash to a rally for the summer.

The conversion was simple, and upgraded from the stock brushless motor over to a MM2 and a 2200kv motor bolted right in after moving the reciever box up front.. I do have an aluminum motor mount coming. I want to run 4s in 1 battery in the car over 2 2s in series. I do have the battery expansion kit installed. What size battery can I stuff in it?

I don't know about size with the battery expansion kit but if you use puretech battery straps you can basically go as high as you want with stacking batteries.
This will TOTALLY work, saw a guy on YouTube do it

    2200kv motor bolted right in
It may have bolted in but if you dont take it out and dremel to two mounting taps you'll have problems with your gear mesh.
Here is a pic of the shorter 2650 and even it makes contact, the 2200 (about 6mm longer) fins will hit these if not ground down as in the picture.
This will cause a bind and problems if not corrected.

There seemed to be plenty of clearance under the motor, almost 1/8" or so. I have a HR racing motor mount coming, so I will take a look and see if I need to clearance it more when I install it. I will say the truck seems a lot more agile than it was with the stock motor.
