    10g is a slight pain to solder but do able with more practice with your solder iron. I did 14,12,10 and 10 was the hardest.

    I do want to get some desolder wick. However, I don't forsee needing to solder anything for awhile

    From inexpensive soldering irons, I recommend Choice, but only it is 100 watts. You can look at other models, but they are like 60 watts. The price fluctuates around $20 on Amazon.

    I use the cheap plastic red one you get at walmart for small things. Its like 10 bucks. Seems to work just fine.

    I'm still around. Actually used my station like a week ago. Soldered the pins on my F150 cluster. My odometer works again
