    Pretty sure they're discontinued now.
Ebay still has a few sets. I got 3 for my MT410. Snap them up they're dissappearing fast.

Will the 2.8 pre mounted badland mx balloon like crazy?

This is in stock form mounted. Not taped.

I wish I could get someone to remove the glue I already did mine with, and glue and tape them, to where it doesn't look like a 1 year old did it... :-(
    And maybe balance them too

I wonder if my driving style has facilitated the need for me to step up to a 1/8th truggy

I tried my hand at glueing. It is just not my "thing".
Then I tried using kevlar thread to make my own sort of belted tire. Also went horrible!
I buy pre-made ready to run tires now!!!

I setup one of my Slashes as a 1/8 buggy (backslash) I think it is great, although the price of a used Losi 8ight E isnt bad lately...

    They are Yuuuuggggeeeee!!!!!

I think I want to get some HR 17mm adapters in +1cm now....

I do like the less flex in the carcass, mainly at the sidewall, but I do still feel some shoulder roll in my hands.

These wheels are the same size as my GRP slicks!

Wow, I am looking at this thing. I really do need to buy an 1/8 scale truggy

Heck, this thing has 1/8 scale: wheels/tires, esc, motor, 4s battery, vorza shocks

SWEETNESS! How does the truck drive with them on? Any heat issues?

Haven't driven it yet with them on.

Not worried about heat issues, my power system is grossly overpowered. Still will be running the same gearing as I had with the GRP slicks.

The +1 cm adapters should be here on wednesday

That thing is a beast Jimbo; I just might have to turn one of my 4wd's into a monster similar to your's.
Best of luck and have some serious fun.

I haven't even run it with the 3.8s. I am just constantly disappointed with it. I may be afraid of running it, and being even more disappointed with it.

nah, it isn't the gearing.... it is plenty fast. just handles for crap, even tuned. I can't drive it the way I want to with huge tires, and htey balloon into cookie cutters and have no traction. the shockwaves are supposesed to not balloon though

Do you have any more pictures of your truck so I can see the battery tray and how you have your battery straps?

Stock battery tray. I have an adjustable strap that is under the stock battery hold downs. By that I mean just a strap, clamped between the stock holder and the chassis

Oh. The shockwaves did well. No ballooning except when I was doing wicked donuts and would lift a wheel

Hmmmm. Need to figure out what happened. My esc is saying that my motor has a short or isn't properly connected. I wonder if I overheated it while soldering. Or something else. Will try and bust out the multi meter sometime this weekend if time allows....

So.... apparently the 2 wires that unsoldered themselves and fell off the motor was because the motor fried!
Had a 23 tooth pinion on it.

So I soldered up a 2100kv of the dame motor, and a 17 tooth pinion. Ran it for 10 seconds, grenaded the rear right arm, and ripped out the camber link rod form the end...

Ordered [gasp] a set of 4 aluminum!!!! arms with pins and c clips. They were <$18 shipped off amazon prime. Should have them tomorrow.

I know I advise everyone to not get alloy arms, but these were even cheaper than stock! And if it breaks, I have an extra :-) it may lead to other breakages of the diffs/bulkheads, but I don't care at this point.

Iíve been wanting 17mm hexís and 3.8 wheels on my slash too, but wasnít sure if the off set would leave enough room for steering. Any recommendations?

I run the 10mm adapters on the HR setup for 17mm on the mip x duty

This is what 3.8 Badlands look like on a Slash 4x4 with the shortest offset HR 17mm hex adaptors and there was only slight body contact when turning with compressed suspension.
