It was fun, but still not really the way I want it to handle. I honestly want it to stick to the ground, and be able to drive like a bat out of heck. I am realizing, I can't get the performance I want out of a monster truck, or have the hugeness I want out of a sct

I can't imagine how bad it will turtle with an hcg chassis.....

I like the monster slash, it jsut isn't conducive to the way I want to drive it, not sure what tires I am going with next..... possibly just cheapo 12mm short course sadly, maybe some 12mm sct in a prime

Not too bad. My shocks are super soft right now. No huge crazy jumping with it. That's what's my maxx is for. But this slash is just to see what it would look like and handle before I order 3.2's. Hopefully it'll be a lot better haha

Yup. They're originally for my emaxx. But they're small for that truck I think. Not too bad though. I bash at our 2 acre property so I'm mainly on asphalt or 2-6" of grass. Try to stay off the grass for the most part unless I want to go for a long walk

here's my two slashes. First tire I left is 2.8 badland (old school style) then middle is my 3.8 badlands (old school style) and the my 2.2 slash tires lol

Haha heavy but worth it for me so far. Was thinking about gettin them for my 2wd slash as well.

so...... where should I be at for settings on my rx8 gen 2? I have a hotwire 2.0 with the newest firmware, version 258

all I have done from default is change the BEC to 7.4v and the LVC to 3.5v per cell

I don't own one, if I did I'd start somewhere around:

6-9% neutral range
70-80% current limiter
50-75% brakes
no timing
no drag brake
linear throttle

Did some wire and switch rerouting. Added the bottom of the radio box. My receiver came off, the tape to the chassis wouldn't hold the honeycomb.

Well one out of three isn't that bad... They held for two month's. Who did the soldering?? MY bad.

I didn't adjust the neutral, left it stock.
Drag brake 1
current limiter none
brake strengh I think I'm at 1 or 2

so..... not too happy with the way it performs now.... not sure if it is a software issue or what.... seems super slow, no longer pulls wheelies.... I do realize I added 1/4 pound to the front end though......

As many issues as I had with my MMP, I liked it's ease of use and programming options with the field card.... I feel it is a lot mroe user friendly than the rx2..... I may need to look into Castle again for an upgrade, and here I thought, that the RX8 was going to solve my problems

Yeah. Truck definitely isn't the same.... not sure what happened. And honestly, might be done caring. That's why my all my rcs have gone into pieces, never to be played with again..... almost time to send it to the graveyard. I do want a yeti xl and or a grave digger smt10

I am frustrated. It is what it is. I have had struggles with this vehicle for awhile. Just might be time to box it, and move on. I have a soon to be ex-wife, kids, and a job. I have enough of that stuff, where I don't need my stress relief to cause me more frustration.
