It was really wet. I did not like the layout at all. There is a pit of no return. Almost can't drive out of it. It is like 3 feet deep, and impossible to walk, you have to go through the side. It was also flooded today in that pit. They had to dry it before we could use the track. If I hadn't have had a 4wd, I don't think I would have been able to drive it at all.

The best mods in life are free so we got our new comcast stuff this week, had Velcro ties... decided, sweet, these are perfect.... I can even use them with the stock holder as well.... they are just underneath the mounts, sandwiched between the mount and the chassis

my truck is pretty dialed in.... just slow..... I am @ 14/56 --- motor stays around 120-130 ---- but MMP still overheats --- really time for a better ESC

I recently installed a strap the same way. I had a high speed off road rollover and the battery made its way out. Had it cinched down tight. So I added one that runs the other way through slots in the chassis.

Maybe there is a rock stuck in the teeth. Earlier I had some wood fiber in my spur and that was grinding like crazy.

Whoops, didn't see there were 8 pages :P

Might have been a glitch in tapatalk. None of the messages I posted on any of the boards I frequent were showing up. I unistalled it, and installed it again, and seems to be fixed now.

I just need some long rod ends for my rear vorzas now and off to the races

Might go with a snappy rc mount for my rx8

    it will need some tuning

picked up a pink bandit, kinda...... needed a little work..... a friend of my kids gave it to them, because it had battery charger issues... I have a decent battery charger... the battery is a 9.6v traxxams nimh.... hoping I can resurrect it.. trying to right now.... was also missing a battery hold down, but I made one out of what I think was a hold down from another traxxas car, by elongating the holes. also took off a bunch of stickers it had

well, the battery charged and is holding steady @ 9.8v -- was pretty warm when I took it off the charger, but my charger decided to charge it between 4-5 amps

will test it out in the morning

got my hotwire today, found out it is a black case hotwire, but should still work fine --- can't figure out how to get it all setup though, I sent Tekin an email

The bandit ran well. Charged the nimh @ 5 amps. Was warm when I took it off the charger. Got about 8 minutes out of it. Then got tired of it, and came inside. Did perform well though. Had 1.5v when I first started charging. Was at 10v when it was done.

    And no more stickers....

not sure what I did, but I think I got it all programmed!!!!!

I am running hotwire 10.26 and firmware 255

I left all the settings stock, but reduced the reverse delay to .5 instead of default, adjusted the battery cutoff from default (3.2v/cell) to 3.5v/cell, and made sure it was set to 2s (apparently, there is no auto-lipo mode) I also set my fan to come on when needed, instead of on all the time (default)

I am running a sensor wire

it is 3:17 am right now ----- once the sun comes up --- time to head outside

Sun's up, get that thing fired up!! Make sure we tightened up the slipper enough for you.

And the Bandit did clean up nicely.

took it out, pretty fast, happy about that, the reverse is weird, very slow, need to look into that... I don't like the lag time between forward to brake and then to reverse -- going to see if I can tweak that

in the market for some new wheels and tires --- again ---- my slicks are getting worn down thin, the tread is starting to de-laminate from the sidewalls at the shoulder -- I could toss on my knocklands, but I am sure they would be bald very quickly

also, my servo seems super sensitive - but not sure what to do about that - could be driver error
