Did be can use the rear Baja T wheels on the Xmaxx or the front baja T wheels ?

Is there enought space on the Xmaxx to use the large rear Baja T wheels on the four wheels ?
What about the Losi 5ive Wheels ,did they work on the Xmaxx ?

these are baja 5t rear wheels. I think the losi rims have to be modified a little to work. not sure of the process involved but i don know that they won't just drop in.

I seen this video on YouTube of this guy that had a nut and an adaptor all as one unit. Did any of you see that, and if so...where did he get them?

I think ol' Yoshy figured they were superior as well sine he's not cutting anymore it looks like.

I really like the RC Monster ones as well. Several more threads can be captured.

I have seen where people tape their tries to keep them from balloning. But what tape works best. I guess duck tape would work but I fear it would lose its sticky on the tire after a while and would need redone. Any sugestions?

4817. The size needs to be 190x60. You can find the foams on ddm

The problem with the 1/5 wheels / tires on the X-Maxx is it looks dumb. I've seen the guys posting photos of them on their X-Maxx, and it looks silly. Like they are way too small.

Personal preference, I know... But really, you just completely destroyed the look of your X-Maxx.

I'm just waiting until someone comes out with an X-Maxx specific wheel / tire. It's bound to happen eventually.

In the meantime the ballooning tires don't bother me much since I'm not doing high speed runs.

I think one reason some people are fitting the 1/5 wheels are that they're made for heavier rigs.

Some 'hard bashers' are breaking rims and tearing tyres.

Me personally, I'm still holding on for more-correct-looking MT wheels - could be dual diameter to permit a deep wall on the outside, but bigger diameter wheel / thinner wall tyre on the inside to limit weight and maintain decent handling.

The only option at the moment is the MTXL Losi wheel. Quite heavy, but that includes the foam insert, which may not be necessary in the 'X' as its little more than half the weight.
The inner reinforcing splines need attention (partial removal) and the hole's too big, else they can probably be made to fit with care.

1/5 scale wheels and tires on Xmaxx

You have a new option now. The glued 1/5 scale buggy wheels from the new Losi 5iveB kit. There much lighter that stock or 1/5 beadlocks. However not the most aggressive tread, but another option until proline drops a bomb on us. But lighter equals less heat on that stock motor/esc.
