Unhappy caste sidewinder esc wiring issue

So I have the castle 4600kv motor and castle sidewinder esc in my merv and something with the wiring is all goofy. If I plug my battery in it will keep blinking and beeping untill I move the esc wires around or push them in to the esc and it will turn yellow ready to go. It will only work if I push them in towards the esc. Anyone had this problem? Will castle replace it?

Sounds like you have a bad receiver wire. Castle does have a 1yr warranty that should cover it. Give them a call, great customer support.

What receiver are you using. I have Spectrum and have to trim the ear on the side off to fit my plug in the receiver.

The wires that go into the esc? The only wires going into the esc are the motor and battery wires. The wire from the esc to the receiver is what your trying to describe it sounds like.
Check the prongs in the connector to see if they backed out or are bent. May be the receiver if you get connection when wiggling at that connector.

There's the 2 wires for the switch, and the 3 that run to the receiver. The 3 that run to the receiver are all goofy. All it does is beep, and if I move it will shut off, keep cutting out or beeping again . It's really annoying. It's defiantly the wires that come out of the esc

Yes I'm wiggling them at the esc. It's not doing anything now so I'm assuming it's fried. This car probably has 20 mins of run time on it since I bought it. All its had is trouble.

They are currently closed. And I don't know how long the kid had it before me.
